So Oda dedicated a chapter for Pound. I guess the man is dead by now.

Cool chapter. Didn’t mind the pound stuff pretty cool seeing the grandson admire his papa. And this man killed me when tightened up his tie before being executed if he’s dead. couple more chapters and big mom will have her cake, we see the germa and begs bounce, and maybe luffy will go back to katkuri or bounce with the sunny. And who was in pounds flashback cool to see whoever it was younger.
Over the past couple chapters have kinda been slow but haven’t bothered me I am ready for this arc to be over but knowing wano isn’t coming for awhile oda can drag this arc out as long as he wants at least well see luffy grow and see jimbe adapt to the crew more
Sanji lifting the cake and the swift kick last chapter were pretty badass sanji moments too

Oh, wow. I didn't care one bit for Pound before this, but seeing him sacrifice himself for the daughter who never did and never will know who he was just really hit me.

Oda is letting the blood flow ever since Luffy entered the New World. The times where people were saying "This is One Piece, no one ever dies" are definitely over. I really enjoy it because it brings a lot more tension to these chapters and makes the yonkou threat a lot more scarier. I didn't care as much for Pound as I did for Pedro but Oda was able to make me care with this chapter. Damn instead of just killing him off he likes to twist the knife a bit. Put some emphasize on his sad backstory. Make sure we get reminded again that his daughter doesn't know him and never will. And his sacrifice is only good enough for a few seconds of distraction, just enough to save the cake.

Poor Pound.

Bege and Sanji were cool, keeping calm in a crazy situation. The tank castle boat is a pretty awesome ship. Hope other Supernova's also have cool ships. Like Law's submarine and Sunny.

Is pound really dead? If so, that really sucks, Oda should have let at least had Chiffon find out that was her dad. No one even acknowledged his death for crying out loud except Pez.

Its just so unlike Oda for him to Kill off a character and not even have them acknowledged like that.

His death was really sad too.

Not to knock Sanji's feat this chapter but wasn't that cake supposed to be so light it almost floated away a few chapters back or am I mis-remembering?

Vito's fanboying on the Germa's still a nice touch.

I like that Pound straightened his tie in a dignified moment after meeting Sanji, not sure if on purpose or not but nice touch.

Pudding's pose at the end was cute.

I liked that Pez acknowledged Pound. I wish the story could go long enough that Pez could grow up and end up fighting Oven.

You think? Pounds flashback version looks a lot different imo, the face is a lot thinner and the hair is longer she looks a bit like Smoothie I thought but with a bigger nose. In the original 4 photo her nose is different and I think she looks way bigger in the bobbins photo than she ended up being during the WCI images. Maybe I should rearrange the order of the pics?

I think it said somewhere you have to be knee deep in water before it hits you like that and all Oven did was put his hand in to his wrist.

Therefore, hip baths or showers are the most common choice. Now, in Crocodile's case, "water" is the weakness of his very powers, so his abilities are robbed even in the shower. No, I thought about it, but it's not really anything unusual. It are just his hands and he's wearing gloves, which cover the parts that are submerged, so he might not even be touching any water directly. Heck, he might even be wearing those gloves specifically for that purpose.

How is this a plot hole? Pound just hit him with a log, one that even shattered on impact. Because of the gloves he's wearing it's debatable whether the water has any effect on him, but even if it did it's not like this is a severe attack seen after OP standards.

I doubt touching a water would low Oven's, Luffy's or any DF user energy. Did Luffy weakened when he tried to capture Usopp in Sky-Island, drowning in white-Sea?
