2. The sound of SLASH on the first panel of page 15, the panel before Chiffon looking back.

2 swords hitting each other wouldn't make a slash sound effect, more like a ka-ching.

3. That blade obviously was Oven's, despite the fact that it looks slightly different, Oda is still human. And what would be the chances if someone came to the rescue with a nearly identical blade half a second before the execution ?

4. You have no clue about the how his powers work when applied to his blade, your theory of cutting someone in half and ending up with a clean blade is pure speculation not to mention bizarre. You can't cut someone that clean.

Pound has no relevance to the story anymore, he played his part, he assaulted a BM family member and was left behind alone on an island in her territory, that is death. All this reaching is so annoying because we will never see the end of it. Because 200 chapters from now there will still be some guy who says "but we never seen the body, so Pound might still be alive". Even though the blade was on his neck and it ended with a bloodied blade, I don't know what more Oda can do besides showing his head rolling down the street.

The style is the same, the colors are are the same, the curve is less then on the first page but it is still there. Oda is not a printer. And if you see the chopping, you hear the slash and you see the blood on the blade. That is Oda enlightening you by whispering in your ear "He got chopped Einstein"

Also I'm replying because it's a discussion thread, and the point is that people can speculate about things that aren't published yet, so you can keep playing that "you must be Oda's closest friend card" over and over again. But I'm just here telling you that 1 + 1 = 2 and you're sharing your theory with us that there is a 20% chance of 1 + 1 = 3. And the point of a discussion board is that I can reply to anyone I want, giving my opinion on anything I want. You can't deny me of not replying just because you don't like what I have got to say. So you can just as well take your own advice. You don't have to read and reply.

But if you do. at least do it with facts. Because saying it isn't the same blade is bullshit. And your cauterizing the wounds speculation makes no sense when someone is being cut at "Just the neck". You think cutting someones head off will be a clean cut ? I don't think so, so don't try to shove that into my shoes that I suddenly have to proof how Oven's powers work. That is YOUR theory so YOU have to prove it.

Now it's suddenly boring and it has nothing to do with Pound anymore after I told you on how many pages he really is. Just say that in the first place then instead of scapegoating something different every week. Also don't understand how you can find this a bad One Piece arc. This has been in the making for 20 years. If you can't stand the pace then just come back in half a year.

Lmao @people really reaching and saying that the blades look "so different".. in the panels that Love Cook posted you can clearly tell that Oda was drawing the same weapon.. whether Pound is alive or not is, well yeah technically still up in the air, but the most likely scenario is that he is in fact dead.. we'll see soon enough though..

I agree with the boring part. I am having a hard time trying to stay awake every week with these chapters. I was awoke during the Katakuri/Luffy fight but then I went back to sleep. I am just not interested in anything else in this arc anymore. The wedding shit was great, but then we went back down again. Don't give a shit about Oven at all, and Big Mom has just been running around looking stupid, not really doing anything of interest and this whole thing with the cake is pretty wack too.

But it being one of the worst arcs ever is kinda an exaggeration I would say. This is the first arc where we are dealing with a Yonko and her commanders have been pretty good for the most part.

Punk Hazard and Fishman Island are worse than this arc imo. I think Zou has been the best arc in the New World so far. WCI would probably be 3rd after Dressrosa for me.


But honestly, when it comes to the fandom, every arc is a good arc in One Piece according to the super one piece fanboys, so not really sure why they try to question people for disliking an arc when they just dickride every single arc that Oda creates.

2. What sound?? Chiffon looking back?? That could be sound of 2 swords hitting eachother or someone hitting Oven
3.Also in that panel the glavie is not Oven's. That "glavie" was too thin(pic of oven's below), there isn't any curve, while Oven's blade has a curve starting from the tip of the sword. Also Oven had used his power on the blade so as he was cutting Pound, the cut he made would have burnt close so no blood should get on the blade and even if some blood did get on the blade, it should have been evaporated....

I do think it is unlikely that Pound was saved...just a gut feeling

It's not up to me to know how his powers work when you come up with an alternative theory about his powers. Then it is up to you to explain why you're making assumptions. Don't really see why that is so difficult to understand.

I can accept all kinds of theories but yours is just filled with assumptions and guesswork. Based on the fact that a weapon looks slightly off in one panel. I think that isn't really a good base to start from because it was pretty clear what was going on this chapter. But yet you're super defensive about it when someone says something about it.
