After Senjus and Uchihas finally ended their conflicts and achieved peace and the village was founded, Tobirama ruined everything.
Tobirama was the main reason why Madara turned on the village, after Madara listened to the way the future second hokage was speaking about his clan, and that he never ceased to view Uchihas as enemies, he basically proved to Madara that peace cannot be achieved and that Hashiramas village was a failure and that his clan is in danger, which created a free space for Black zetsu to manipulate him using the stone tablet

Tobirama was also responsible for what happened to the Uchihas, he was the first person to corner the Uchihas and isolate and treat them differently from the other clans and make them hated by the villagers, and Danzo kept on his policies, as a result Uchihas organized a coup which lead to their massacre and the Itachi and Sasuke's tragedy

Tobirama also claims that "when an Uchiha that has known love loses it.. it turns into an even stronger hate and changes that person" and with that he justifies the way he treated them, but doesn't that apply to almost everyone ?
Nagato was an Uzumaki not an Uchiha, yet he became a cold hearted person after losing Yahiko and his parents, he was just like Obito and Sasuke, the same thing applies to Orochimaru. even Naruto said that he would have been the same as Sasuke if he didn't have friends.

Tobirama was just emotional, slimy, and irrational. He should have listened to his brother and trusted the Uchiha's. In exchange for their power, they feel emotions on higher levels. It doesn't mean they become evil, they just direct their anger and hatred at what caused their pain, and as Uchiha's there's a 85% chance that whatever they hate is incapable of defeating them.

Tobirama made a mistake, he created the Chunin Exams, the Edo Tensei, and created issues between the clan and the village.

At the end of the day, Tobirama knew that the Uchiha were too strong for him or any Senju to handle without Hashirama around, and acted brashly once his brother died.

Sasuke was not a celebrity. People merely wanted to see the last remnant of a powerful clan fight at the Chunin exams, it doesn't mean they cared about him, they just wanted to see the remaining person who carries the legends and stories of the Uchiha clan's power. If Sasuke were as important as you think, he would have never been able to leave the village, they would have had ANBU set around him for his protection.

If the Uchiha were so loved, why is it that they were being told where to live?

If they were so loved, why weren't the Uchiha trusted to become Hokage's?

If the Uchiha's were so loved, why did the village stop them from taking the Kyuubi out of Konoha during the attack?

The Uchiha were mistreated and that's why the coup was sparked, you can fap off to the Naruto is an underdog trying to overcome the severe Uchiha privilege granted to Sasuke but that isn't how the story happened.

I suggest you read Itachi Shinden(canon novel) they were hated and discriminated against for being Uchiha.
