Games don't give back story of characters and aren't written by members of kishi's manga team. That's a really weak argument to dismiss canon novels.
That's lame. Fanfictions, Doujinshies, light novels based on original work by another author are not original work no matter how much back story they add.
No they're not outside the uchiha are surrounded on all sides according to the novels. What on earth makes you think Danzo would allow them to be outside the village from where they'd pose a greater threat to konoha and would be out of his reach.
They were excluded from government and involvement in the village affairs.
It's a village in a circular shape. Everyone is surrounded by other people. If you are surrounded by everyone , how are you isolated from them and demanding same compound?
Itachi and Shisui were in ANBU. Kagami Uchiha was working with Tobirama so the claim that they were not allowed to do anything else beside police work is not 100% truth either.
They still maybe discriminated as in having to prove themselves more than others to get in to higher position. That's my speculation based on what Obito suggested. But Obito was also trying to manipulate Sasuke with twisted facts. e.g. He didn't tell him that it was him who was responsible for Kyubi attack, Uchihas were suspected for.
So unfortunate as it is the distrust of Konoha towards Uchihas after Minato's death was not totally unreasonable though on part of Uchiha their resentment was justified too. It was a misunderstanding resulted because of mysterious Kyuubi attack and it's results.
Manga doesn't have that kind of normal villains who can be blamed for the chaos unilaterally. Kishi brought an alien non human creature for that.
