This reminds me of what an extreme case of bad breath would look like in an anime. A fog of yellow potent gas, haha. Another gas-based supplementary version of Poison Release. I am unsure on whether or not the gas is thick enough to obscure vision. It is activated by the hand gesture of clapping the hands, which is neat. I prefer clapping as opposed to actual hand seals. A perfect technique to counter weapon specialists and taijutsu users.

My only question is whether or not they have to stay in contact with the gas for the 3-turn effects to take place. Or so long as they are exposed the first time, the spasms start taking effect and worsening? This is actually a pretty cool technique, considering how simple it is. I like it. I could totally see myself RPing with Luffy after eating a large meal and burping the yellow gas haha.

Thanks bro, Merry Christmas to you as well!

Question: Are we immune to all these gas based applications? And what about our clones? Since we share the same chakra and such? I imagine our summons wouldn't be immune.
No, once the gas is in their system. They are pretty much screwed. Think of it this way, similar to sound. Once the sound is heard, you are trapped in the genjutsu, or whatever else the sound may do to you.

Yes, as poison mastery we become immune to all poison (of the canon ones), same for toxins, and venom's. We don't have an immunity to custom poison (See Lili''s or Scorps' custom poisons for the idea). Our clones are also immure, but yes you are correct summons are not immure to them.

(Dokuton: Mahi Doku Bakuha no Jutsu)- Poison Release: Paralysis Poison Blast Technique

Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A technique that is based off somewhat on the Phoenix Flower Jutsu. The user exhales five blasts of poison after inhaling and doing the Hare handseal. In the center of these blasts of guey poison are poison smoke bombs that the user threw at the same time, both aspects of the technique containing the same poison, albeit in different forms (liquid and mist). Upon impact, the liquid poison will enter the targets pores, being absorbed through the skin, causing high levels of physical pain (albeit no damage) while the poison bombs will detonate the mist, which, if inhaled, will cause motor paralyzation (1 turn).

(Doku Sōzō) Poison Creation
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A (60 possible physical damage on impact, rest depends on the poison)
Description:
The user is able to take an existing sample of a given poison and manipulate it with his chakra, increasing is quantity and replicating it. Basically, much like one does with water release an a water source, the user is able to use a small sample of poison to, from it, create waves, projectiles, etc if the poison is liquid or a dust, clouds, gusts, mists, etc if the poison is a gas. This technique, however, cannot create poison out of nothing, only manipulate existing poison from a sample or source.
Note: the original sample or source needs to be within short range of the user.

This one, I've wanted to talk about this one forever. Alright first off the usability seems far above some of the other techniques it allows you to source any poison you have in your possession and amplify it. A drop can produce an oceans worth and that seems amazing to me. There are a bunch of questions I had about it though. Does this work with anything that is considered a poison ie things like alcohol, perfume, samples of CE, cannon poisons, custom poisons etc. For example my bio just obtained a sample of perfume from Mockingjay in NW. It's a poison by definition meaning if a person consumed it they'd fall ill or die, would I be able to take that small source and create massive amounts of it with this technique?

If I were to be poisoned by a cannon poison from say Sasori or Hanzo and through my Poison Immunity were to extract it and keep a sample could I use it with this? Could I basically make a necklace of vials of different poisons, and have a dozen plus sources around my neck to call on whenever I want?

As it is, it allows a lot of freedom. Which is great, personally I reckon you could do what you are asking.

Yeah you could also do that, pretty much. Unless LoK says otherwise, I don't see why not tbh.

(Dokuton: Mahi Doku Bakuha no Jutsu)- Poison Release: Paralysis Poison Blast Technique

This technique is cool in theory but in the fast paced place that is the Ninja World, effectively shooting five consecutive shots of poison whilst also hand throwing five poison bombs would give the opponent an opening in the timeframe to interrupt. Not only that but unless concealed, you are exposing the fact that you are planting something inside the guey poison. This technique leads me to believe that as Poison Specialists, our bios now carry generic poison bombs (That their effects are undefined as I have no idea what they would do standalone. The effects of the poison absorbed by the skin is pretty useful. By causing great pain, you are making it more difficult for them to release from genjutsu through pain. Meanwhile if the mist is inhaled, paralysis would come shortly after.

(Doku Sōzō) Poison Creation

Is says we are able to take the existing same of a given poison. Would that also allow us to use our own poison based techniques from the regular jutsu list that are still lingering around us to use as a source to manipulate in more aggressive ways? For example, the re-manipulating the yellow fog from our previous technique to make it more deadly. Not only that but the extension of this technique is up to mid range. This leads me to believe that the manipulated constructs can reach a distance of up to mid range. This makes the rest of the poison list, potentially more useful.

I'm confused as the technique almost contradicts itself. At the beginner it specifies increasing the quantity of the source (Up to what limit?) and nearing the end of the technique, it specifies not being able to create poison out of nothing, only manipulating said source. (No matter how little or small it is.) Or is the last note just referring to not being able to magically materialize poison without a source whatsoever? My real concern is whether or not we can use a small veil of poison as a source and materialize a larger source to then be manipulated for assault? Or are/will the constructs be limited to the size of the initial sample? The technique and concept sounds too good to be true so I am making sure 100%.

Yes you can do as you are asking.

You need a source, this technique won't work without a source. This technique merely creates a larger version of the sample you provide. It creates somewhat like a large pool of poison from the sample that it once was. This technique has unlimited potential.

(Dokuton: Soeki no Jutsu) - Poison Release: The Plague Technique
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (20*X per turn for 3 turns, X being the number of the turn in question)
Description: A technique which is a very deadly dokuton skill which can render even the strongest shinobi helpless with an extreme pain. By infusing highly concentrated poison chakra into one part of the persons body through direct contact, the poison begins to spread causing purple dots to appear all over the body. As they spread over the body, they constantly cause more and more pain as time goes on (lasts 3 turns). The effect is achieved by using the users chakra to create poison inside the enemy's cells through direct contact and using only the normal toxins and byproducts of the enemy's metabolism as source. The chakra will potentiate these toxins and multiply them, creating a cascading effect of increasing toxicity which can culminate in the enemy's death if he doesn't stop the spreading of the technique or receives treatment.
Note: Usable once every 4 turns

(Ninpou: Dokugiri) - Ninja Art: Poison Mist

Rank: S-rank
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: N/A (40*X damage per turn, X being the number of turns after exposure)
Description: Chakra is kneaded within the body and then changed into special chemical substances which is then ejected through the mouth in the form of a massive poison cloud. When this substance comes in contact with the air outside the body, it instantly changes and is transformed into a mist of deadly poison. The poison's ability to kill is tremendous, as even just breathing in a small amount will mean the end of the target's life. As this technique combines ninjutsu, chemistry, and medical knowledge, using it requires fine chakra control and advanced ability in medical ninjutsu.
Note: Can only be used by those with Medical Training in Poison techniques.

(Dokuton: Soeki no Jutsu) - Poison Release: The Plague Technique

Seems like it could be decent for taijutsu usage but if I'm understanding it correctly I don't think there's any real way to get the full damage due to the prolonged need of physical contact. Staying in contact with someone for a few seconds is hard enough but three turns usually equals a few minutes making it nearly impossible to stay in contact with the opponent. The effects seem pretty decent and can even lead to death. Does the contact need to be held for three turns to spread the poison, or once the contact is made and the poison is applied can contact be broken? I ask because I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding it.

(Ninpou: Dokugiri) - Ninja Art: Poison Mist

This seems like the strongest poison technique yet. It out right states that even breathing in a very small amount will be fatal. It also covers a massive area short - long which is on the scale of even the (Dokuton: Dokugakure Kiri no Jutsu) -Dokuton: Hidden Poison Mist Technique that we learned earlier. Not much else I can think to say about it.

It seems like this technique requires a one time contact exposure to activate and then its "self" sustained for a lack of a better word. What we do with the manipulation of our chakra in the toxin manner infuses itself with the target's metabolism and then begins to act in a chain-reaction that is held for three turns, without having to keep focusing on it? From what I can understand. Though, what I find somewhat pointless is that it causes -20 x3 damage (For the three turns) but states the target can die if he isn't healed. Does that mean that if exposed to this technique, the target will die on the third or even fourth turn?

(Ninpou: Dokugiri) - Ninja Art: Poison Mist

Just like Howard, I am wondering the end result of breathing in this poison? Would it be insta-death or would the target simply receive the -40 damage, and die afterwards on X amount of turns? I think this technique and the one above need to be more redefined.

Nope you do not need to keep in contact with the person, you merely just have to touch them once, and they'll be infected with it. Obviously has to touch them skin to skin. If they don't deal with the poison, they'll die by either the third/fourth turn. The -20 per-turn is merely there for RP purposes, probably. Can't go around having a technique that say it'll kill them in one turn, or whatever. It's also there cause they may be able to counter it/remove the poison from themselves before the third turn, and the only thing they've lost is some chakra.

And, finally the last technique for you both.

(Dokuton: Doku Hebi Rendan no Jutsu) - Poison Release: Poison Hydra Barrage Technique
Rank: S-Rank
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 70 (-20 per turn)
Damage Points:N/A
Description: Using the users blood as a template, this technique creates a gargatuan, 10 meter tall Hydra, completely made of thick poison. The user will draw blood in one of his palms and do 3 handseals (Hare, Ox, Tiger) clapping his hands and opening them. As he does, a thick guey orb of poison falls to the ground. As it touches the ground it expands rapidly and seemingly out of control into a gigantic 3 headed Hydra. This enormous familiar will be entirely made of either a generic poison (which will cause increasingly severe muscular pain, sensory numbness and damage if absorbed through the skin (30 damage per turn, effects last 5 turns after exposure), death if the poison is vaporized and inhaled) or a unique poison of the user (requires the user to have a liquid custom poison approved) and will be able to act and move through the users command. The enormous familiar can regrow body parts (if the user pays 20 chakra points) if attacked by techniques bellow S-Rank, each attack creating a new head. It not only can attack a target physically by making contact with it (it can move, stretch, deform, etc in various ways to attack the enemy in a freeform manner) but can also shoot from each of its heads a C-Rank bullet of the poison its made off (using this ability counts as a single move). The drawback of such a technique is sustaining it which drains the users chakra but also his focus and stamina.
Note: Can only be used once every 5 turns, lasting 4 turns each time

Ah, then it's a lot more op then I was thinking. Much more useful as well since it can be chained into taijutsu movements.

(Dokuton: Doku Hebi Rendan no Jutsu) - Poison Release: Poison Hydra Barrage Technique

It seems like a very strong jutsu especially with the chance to use your own poison in it's place. Vaporization and inhalation can be caused by a fire technique as per s/w, correct? Are the freeform attacks S rank in strength due to the rank of the construct? The C rank bit, this might sound crazy but say there's 8 heads on the Hydra for whatever reason can you fire 8 C rank globs of poison with a single move that would together have the strength of an S rank? That's all I can think of though. O_O

Yeah, that's why poison is so rare. Or why you have to go though so much to even get it.

Yes it can. The freeform damage is S-rank in power, yeah. And, if that is the case and it has eight heads, yeah it'll be able to shoot 8 C-rank globs in one single move. I'm not sure what 8 C-ranks equal in terms of power, but yeah, sounds crazy. But it is surely possible. :|

There is no damage specified in the technique so I am inclined to think that the freeform applications actually don't, deal S-Rank damage? I would imagine that the most notable "damage" done through freeform is the effects of the actual poison being used. I'm hoping to be wrong though as dealing S-Rank damage directly would be cool. My most concerning question due to the last sentence of the technique is whether or not we have to keep it sustained in a sense that we can't perform other techniques? It mentions requiring focus and stamina. But at the same time, it mentions all throughout the technique that its a familiar and such.

Question: Upon completion are we going to get some sort of generic poison that we can apply to our biography's weaponry and such? And also use as samples for some of the techniques we learned? Or are we limited in poison release until we make our own custom poisons or get them via other means like people in the NW, etc etc?

You are probably right in terms of that, and I think it's more or less just taking care of the technique i.e reforming it, or whatnot. I don't believe you are restricted into just using the hydra.

As there isn't actually a generic poison currently. Safe to say, you are limited to poison release until you find or make your own, yeah.

That's rather unfortunate, I was really looking forward to having a generic poison as well. Do you think you could find out if for the time being, we can use Puppeteer's Basic Poison?

Puppeteer's Poison
Type: Necrosis
Description and Effects: Puppet-users, such as Kankurō, can place poison inside their puppets so that they inject via hidden bladed weapons or through devices designed to release this gas. This poison is created to paralyze and ultimately kill opponents. Upon inhaling any poison mist or being cut by a puppeteer's weapons or puppets, the victim will be partially paralyzed after three turns. After six turns the victim is completely paralyzed and after seven turns, the victim dies from the poison. Puppeteer poison, due to being minimalistic in its nature, is as advanced as poisons created by medics and as such, both the effects triggered by inhalation and ingesting of it takes the same amount of time.

Symptoms are:
1: Difficulty breathing, loss of balance. Effects take place after 1 turn.
2: Dizzineess and mental disability. Your mind becomes hazed as do your senses. Vulnerability to Genjutsu ( requires +10 more chakra to expel them ), inability to perform 4 or more handseals or complex techniques. Diminished reactions and speed by half. Effects take place after 3 turns.
3: Loss of conscience: The target becomes near comatose, in a state of delirium and unable to Forbidden ranked attacks. Effects take place after 5 turns.
4: Death: People die when they are killed. Effects take place after 7 turns.
That or if someone in charge can great a basic poison for us that is similar to puppeteers in nature. If you scroll down in the medical jutsu list, beneath the pills there is a poison section that is "N/A" meaning Scorps must've meant to create a poison at some point but never got the time to. It would be awesome if we could get that detail sorted out. Well I mean, its a pretty big detail xd

Either way, thank you very much for having taught Howard & I not only medical ninjutsu but one of the specializations. And also taking up the rest of the students. I've been trying to become a Shishou through L but it seems like you were a close exception. I'll have to wait for my Sensei test to be graded to see if and when I'll be able to help you with teaching.

I just have one last question in terms of how much chakra we must spend with mystical palm when healing an injury that has no known damage points? Perhaps a cut done through a freeform action or something similar, etc etc.

Yeah, I'll speak to LoK, or just direct him to here.

No worries, I'm glad we could finish by the end of the year, I am sorry that my replies at times were slow, or sluggish. Yeah, when you become a sensei. I'll allow you to teach, and as for the shishou. I think to that I was a special exception, being the headmaster and all, I don't know aha.

That was never actually cleared up for me, either. So to be on the safe side, just go with free-form damage is the same as a E-rank or D-rank in terms of damage. Otherwise people will moan and groan if you don't "take" chakra off when using the technique.

I'm not sure how you can look at everything you've done in the short time that I've been in med school and say that. You're doing an amazing job man, you single handedly took on several training threads mine and Moofy's to begin with but over the time I've been here you picked up the slack on any thread that fell behind. You personally have at least sixty percent of the current training aspects of the medical school on your shoulders and I and I'm sure everyone else appreciates all the work you've put into it. You've also personally taken the lead on training people in their medical specialties, myself, Moofy, Klad and Nakiri on your own so far.

You're doing much more than I expect from you and you're doing a great job at it. The old training method could take years for a person to complete what we've done in like six or so months. The only suggestion I can make is don't burn yourself out. Hopefully the staff you've built up for training can take some of the weight off of your shoulders as doing what you just did every time new medical students are accepted may begin to weigh on you and kill the experience for you. I've ended up on a tangent but basically what I'm trying to say is you've been doing a fantastic job keep it up if you can but don't be afraid to rely on other people if you need it and I thank you for it.
