Tbh idgaf about the relationship, but I hate the fact that anyone who disagrees with the relationship is automatically called a homophobe. I swear these days you have to defend being straight and what not.
I guarantee you, the kids don't understand most of those underlying (and some less so) themes. THOSE are for older TLA fans. I don't know who the completely undeveloped gay pairing was for. Well really I do know, but those people seem to be the only one supporting the half-assed attempt.oh but you think kids should exposed to religion, war, viloence, death, polictics , anachery (zaher's idegolgy) what a hypocrite
also this idea that some how because to ppl of the same-*** fall in loveequals *** orgy porn is just SHIT
I COMPLETELY AGREETbh idgaf about the relationship, but I hate the fact that anyone who disagrees with the relationship is automatically called a homophobe. I swear these days you have to defend being straight and what not.
thats what i thought too at first then i went on the internet to discuss the ending and Found Tons of Korra/Asami comments and they were saying that they are a couple like wtf.But really its not really lesbian though. Most females relationship are portrayed with lesbian context because females tend to share more of an intimate bond. But Korra and Asami are border line Willow x Tara. But they always had a Buffy and Faith thing going on.
i already have kids so don't even go there, my wife and me are teaching our kids to accept eveyone regardless of who they are or who they love, they have a very caring aunt who happens to be in love with a woman and that doesn't them bother whatsoever
"HBO" we all know ur saying. gay/lesbian or someone who falls in love with someone of the sam-*** is sexulized when it just show the love they have for one another
Talk about Hypocriteadult swim should try to pick this series up , it fit in well
ohh please do explaine how i'm a hypocrite?Talk about Hypocrite
i see we can agree somethings.
gotcha! we do agree, wolfy how would you like it if your kid became gay, don't you want grand-kids? would you (pretend) love them the same way? i think not.ohh please do explaine how i'm a hypocrite?
edit i see we what ur talking about , that was because i felt the restriction fighting and viloence was stupid not because of the gay relationship angle
But you can see why though.I COMPLETELY AGREE

i see we can agree sometimes.
sigh multitasking)
well to me that was a bond between father and son/teacher and Student/FriendsBut you can see why though.
Like Zabuza and Haku.
A nice friendly relationship, nothing set in stone, but it's heavily implied.
And it's big that they portrayed them so intimate with each other, because such is considered taboo, unless used as comic relief
you don't even know me at all, i would love them just as much as i do now ,wouldn't even question it for a seconed , i would accept them and yes they can still have a family ever hear of adoption ? my father and my mother loved my sister just the same as they before they even knew she was gay so you don't even knowgotcha! we do agree, wolfy how would you like it if your kid became gay, don't you want grand-kids? would you (pretend) love them the same way? i think not.
Anyways it was an amazing series will watch again personally
i like korra more than aang but aang's story was better.
it's fine they just should not have done that in a TV Y7 cartoon.you don't even know me at all, i would love them just as much as i do now ,wouldn't even question it for a seconed , i would accept them and yes they can still have a family ever hear of adoption ? my father and my mother loved my sister just the same as they before they even knew she was gay so you don't even know
sorry if its hard to understand sometimes what i'm saying, english is not my best subject,my 4th language infact
Thing is the comics verse is not always about social agendas out of blue but fantasies. Many people want a warning before starting reading that genre. I have suddenly gotten more respect for Japanese publications clearly dividing and labeling the genres according to type of content.i already have kids so don't even go there, my wife and me are teaching our kids to accept eveyone regardless of who they are or who they love, they have a very caring aunt who happens to be in love with a woman and that doesn't them bother whatsoever

it not even about "catering", but i'm done with the subject, "catering" we all know word this used by religious wackos who want to censor anything that is gay related, anyway you have thought maybie they was trying to reach out children who are questioning themselves to give them a rolemodel they can look too , like there is zero gay/lesbian charaters in fictions those can look too, sorry if it bothers i will defend a company believes in fair repsentationThing is the comics verse is not always about social agendas out of blue but fantasies. It's getting better reception because it has a more common male fantasy element girl on girl along with "good press" according to some press release. So they cater to a fan service and get to mark it as social service by making homosexuality acceptable. Not bad for them.
How you are handling your kids is your personal choice. But it's not really about acceptance of such relationships for everyone. Fewer would read Korra if Ang went with a male friend even if they have nothing against such relationships in normal circumstances. The idea of Yaoi throws off much larger groups of readers. It just may not be their cup of tea to read such a fanatsy.

Well then they can do all reaching out they want. It doesn't suit my personal needs so I'm taking it off my list and I understand why some others too may feel cheated. :shrug:it not even about "catering", but i'm done with the subject, "catering" we all know word this used by religious wackos who want to censor anything that is gay related, anyway you have thought maybie they was trying to reach out children who are questioning themselves to give them a rolemodel they can look too , like there is zero gay/lesbian charaters in fictions those can look too, sorry if it bothers i will defend a company believes in fair repsentation
actually their have been many ppl whoed stated questioning themselves at a young age , they may have not have nescarly not what it was but they question themselveslol a 7yro trying to find them self nah, a 14 yro sure that's ok.
do what you want, i'm not saying have to like it , pretty sad though you think because a charater just happens to fall for the same gender it some how makes her less cool or strongWell then they can do all reaching out they want. That's you trying to push your reasons on me and assuming people have the same opinion on what they want to read. It doesn't make her more or less cool for me. It just makes me not that interested in her story. I may read an occasion yaoi if it has a compelling plot. Yuri has always been a turn off for me. Why should I pick a comic because of your reasons?do what you want, i'm not saying have to like it , pretty sad though you think because a charater just happens to fall for the same gender it some how makes her less cool or strong
no i'm not either, i'm not pushing anything on anyone , i don't read yuri either because i don't like how its done most of the time. however its not because their the same-*** gender relationship that bothers me , i just don't see how that takes away from a charater, all i'm saying is that they wanted to reach out to this fan base that Never get any repsentation at all and i don't see anything at all wrong with thatThat's you trying to push your reasons on me and assuming people have the same opinion on what they want to read. I don't care for social agendas in manga or comic. I don't try to preach feminism to Sakura either or why she should haven't married Sasuke. Does that make it clear to you?
Yes you are- because you are still seeing it just from one POV.no i'm not either, i'm not pushing anything on anyone , i don't read yuri either because i don't like how its done most of the time. however its not because their the same-*** gender relationship that bothers me , i just don't see how that takes away from a charater, all i'm saying is that they wanted to reach out to this fan base that Never get any repsentation at all and i don't see anything at all wrong with that
If they feel they are not represented enough because their sexual orientation is not addressed, why can't I feel more detached if I feel it's not representing my taste? I am not opposing their choice. People feel they were let down for all kind of random reasons all the time, don't they?To make it more clear, I'm still on early chapters in this series. It was not captivating me much to begin with to read it at faster rate. And now I feel even more detached with the lead itself.
