SZ being the embodiment of the fruit given his attitude seems out of place to me but the Juubi being the final villain seems pretty logical seeing as tailed beasts hate being controlled.

Another great thread guts. I do believe spiral zetsu is more special than the others as he seems to be capable of much more, maybe we'll see him return to kaguya/bz's sidr in the coming chapters. Very open ended

No the moon was not red, It was just a full moon. Don't worry, I checked lol. And yes I think he is hiding something

again you bring up some interesting ideas, especially about the madara flashback.

I don't think they will combine to create Kaguya but that was also an intereting take on it lol.

And yes, I think Madara played right into their hands, for both Kaguya and the fruit/jubi and now we are going to see this clash imo with how the future of the world should turn out.

Well, yeah them being her body is pretty unbelievable. Then again they could have just been like prophets or assistants aiding and leading the moon children down Kaguya's path.

Zetsu was made from the Gedo Mazo and if part of Kaguya was inside the Juubi/ Mazo that would mean that Kaguya had a link with them as well.

Its kind of interesting thinking that while Madara and Obito were running around trying to obtain peace the Zetsu were simply watching the puppets dance completing their work for them.

I think I remember seeing a thread before on Spiral Zetsu being the fruit or empty shell of the fruit. That was a long time ago though.

The red color of the moon could just symbolize the blood and gore with Obito. Or it could be a Blood Moon. The next Blood Moon is on the night of Oct. 7-8 this year. It is currently October 9 in the manga. Coincidence. Who knows.

Though the parallels between that video game and Naruto are intriguing, I'm not sure SZ will play any significant role. It is yet to be seen whether or not BZ is the only Zetsu that follows Kaguya, though I have my doubts. It would be awesome to see SZ switch sides and wrap around Hashi, just imagine how OP that would be.

ya that would be unbelievable indeed but like you said, they were both connected, so it might be possible that they have a link.

Regarding your last paragraph, It's very interesting to see it from this perspective haha. They manipulated the hate inside Madara like madara tried to do with obito haha and instead of trying to bring peace like what they wanted, it shall bring destruction.

Good thread,however it's too early to say for sure what SZ's connection is to Kaguya and the Shinju.It's possible his unique look apart from the other Zetsu is a sign though.

I wouldn't say that Spiral Zetsu took over Obito, rather he lend Obito his strength by allowing Obito to use his body as a medium for his weak body. Plus, we have no absolute proof that the moon turned red when Obito went beserk because the manga is in black and white. Though, I like the links you made between that game and the story's plot. I can see that Kishi made some inspirations from the game. As for you the question you posed, I seriously don't know. I'll have to wait more before I can make a decision. Though, I like to believe that Kaguya is the final villain considering the fact that we just recently discovered BZ is Kaguya's will.

No. I don't think that SZ was loyal to Madara at all so I don't think that would happen. I believe it will be along the lines of regaining power and bringing it back to the shinju/jubi. Now that there are no more distractions really, and that madara has all this power, I think he has a plan. What do you think?
