Ahh but we dont know if the Byakugan has a 2nd stage as well since we havent seen much development from it, keep that in mind.

Sharingan....it's superior to the Byakugan in many ways i can't even name.....i can even argue for the 3 tome Sharingan...
Susanoo
A Hyuga needs to come close enough in order to turn off a person's Chakra system and Susanoo being made of Chakra doesn't mean they can stop the Susanoo just by touching it...they need go throw the Susanoo with pure force and no Hyuuga has enough force to go throw Ribcage Susanoo let alone any other form of Susanoo.....the Byakugan is like an x-ray which see throw your whole boy in other words it helps a Hyuga see the flow of their opponent's Chakra system then that will help them hit the right places to turn off the system of their Chakra, but since Susanoo is made by the users Chakra then they need to go throw the Susanoo itself and then turn off their Chakra in other words a Hyuga can't do anything against Susanoo or it's weapons.
Amaterasu
There is nothing a Hyuug can do about this Jutsu obviously since you need a great speed like BM Naruto or Minato or the Railkage and those guys are the fastest ninjas to ever live and no Hyuga is nowhere their speed which the mean reason why a Hyuga is useless against just an attack...Amaterasu hits the place where the user's sight is focused on which makes it difficult to dodge...even if a Hyuga was to react fast enough to do Rotation then the Amaterasu will still burn throw the Rotation since it's made of Chakra and kill the person...Amaterasu has soon it can burn throw Chakra it's whhich an example when Sasuke fought the Railkage who had a Bijuu level Chakra and it's still burn throw he's armor which was made of a Chakra and when Sasuke used Katon on Itachi and Itachi used the Amaterasu to burn the Katon which also made of Chakra...it other words the Hyugas don't have the speed to dodge Amaterasu and their Rotation is useless since Amaterasu can burn Chakra itself.

All hail the mighty wall of text...
1) I list out several ways the hyuga can go on the offensive against a Susano... you didnt address a single one.
2) The hyuga may not be near there speeds, not that I am agreeing with that statement, but the Hyuga do get a warning that the Amaterasu is coming when the Uchiha starts to mold there chakra. With the same level of Intel that the Raikage had it would be incredibly easy for the Hyuga to dodge an Amaterasu.
3) It has already been said throughout the Manga that the way to escape a genjutsu is to distrupt your chakra. This can be done with the help of a friend like when Chiyo and Sakura got Naruto out of Itachi's Genjutsu. Or by ones self, Jiraiya even tried to teach Naruto how to get oneself out of a Genjutsu by personally distrupting ones own chakra but Naruto didnt have the chakra control to do it, Hyuga on the other hand are masters of Chakra control to the point that they can release chakra from chakra points in there body. It stands to reason that they can break themselves out of any genjutsu.

3 Tomoe Sharingan > Byakugan.
3 Tomoe Sharingan grants Genjutsu, copying Ninjutsu & Taijutsu.
Byakugan is only good for sensory and Taijutsu.
Sharingan genjutsu > Byakugan

Not even wasting my time giving this response any attention, Sharingan sucks.
1) Led its Clan to be above all others? What? The Hyuga isnt a Mercenary Clan, the Uchiha was. Thats like saying a Cop is a better shooter than a hunter because he is the Cheif of Police...
2) Again, this is more of the same. The eyes was merely a way of identifying the Clan, the Clan was happen to have alot of powerful ninja. If you stick to your logic then people like Sasuke and Madara would be fodder if they didnt have Sharingans? Ofcourse they wouldnt, they are intrinsically strong ninja's. The Sharingan is just their weapon of choice, it is not the source of their power. This is evident by the fact that Itachi solokinged 3 Uchiha police squad members by himself without breaking a sweat... The man makes the eye, the eye doesnt make the man.
3) This line of questioning is becoming very redundant...

2) People watching the Chunin Exams seemed to think Neji vs Sasuke was a pretty fair fight. With Sasuke being a genius and all you would expect him to wipe the floor wit Hyuga scum. And yet he couldnt even surpass Naruto who only beat Neji mopped the floor with.

Really? They were both war clans. What do you think the shinobi war was about? Every clan fought, the Hyuuga are no exception.
There are geniuses in all clans, yes. However that's not what completely determines the strength of the clan. The Uchiha were the strongest along with the Senju before Madara, the first MS user, even came into play. The eye is a tool, yes, but there are some tools that are better than others. This can be proven by the fact that every Uchiha member was considered a genius.
Also the genius of each clan differs greatly. Just try comparing Itachi to Neji, the genius among the Hyuuga.
Not to mention Sasuke only had 2 tomoe at the time.
They were the strongest after the Uchiha died.
Sasuke was a genius, but he wasn't considered one among his clan; Sasuke had tons of potential though.
Again compare Itachi to Neji, then you can see who was the true genius.
Uchiha> Hyuuga. Why do you think they were the strongest clan even without any MS users?

The manga has clearly portrayed the Sharingan as being superior; the Hyuuga also aren't relevant to the plot (unlike the Uchiha)...
The rotation of a so called Hyuuga genius was also struggling against the Juubi's simple Mokuton....

Yes, The Senju and the Uchiha gained renown for being the only ones to compete with one another. Thus when Villages (Not Clans, idk where you got the idea of every clan fighting) went to war against one another they would hire one of the prior mentioned clans to fight for them. Remember Villages are fighting, not random Clans.

How do I compare Neji to Itachi? But most importantly Why would I... You have invoked something called to fallacy of composition.
Itachi is a an extremely strong ninja, He is a Sharingan. THerefore everyone with a Sharingan is extremely strong ninja. But again, he Soloking'd 3 Uchiha when they questioned him about Shishui, so that shows that not all Uchiha are equal. And maybe Itachi being a strong ninja had nothing to do with his Sharingan.

1. The clans were for hire so they would fight against each other, not the villages. What I mean is that even if they hired them the clans were the ones doing the actual fighting. So yes, the clans were fighting against one another. Their motives for doing it doesn’t matter, the important thing is that the Uchiha and Senju were considered the strongest of all the clans.

This whole topic is filled with posts of people who disagree with this comparison. I decided to keep it simple, instead of wasting time writing down an useless wall of text explaining the obvious. I deliberately refused to bother reading the first post, because whatever ass-pull or flawed logic it tries to bring into this discussion by comparing Sharingan with the Byakugan is just a waste of time. Like it or not, you know I'm right.
