We're referring to the byakugan as a whole right?
Byakugan>sharingan in terms of insight and can see through barriers. Also you can see and can also tell when a genjutsu is going to be used. It can see chakra build up as well.
The Byakugan enables you to use gentle fist which is deadly in so many ways. One touch can kill you. Basically I see 3t being useful in close combat cuz of precognition but the byakugan far outclasses it in that department.
This is like a rough sketch. I'll like to see your points on why?
Basic 3 T sharingan:
- Can See through Objects and gives colour to all chakra.
- Can give info on the amount of chakra a user has.
- Can give info on Chakra disturbance.
- Can see chakra in general.
- Is capable of copying all non-KG techniques.
- Is capable of powerful Genjutsu.
- Is capable of Pre-Cog.
*Keep in mind that we didn't even know about the Gates at this point.
The Cursed Seal reacted to any chakra Sasuke used back then. If it was nothing more than regular ol' Taijutsu, the Cursed Seal wouldn't have had such a violent reaction. The matter of which dōujutsu’s precognition is superior to the other is quite frankly based upon the individual using the dōujutsu. It is essentially a duel mimicking an Eternal Mangekyō Madara battling, for example a healthy, mobile, Nagato. The winner of which, is largely dependent on the contestant whom has the better mastery of their respective abilities.
