Abortion: Pro-life or Pro Choice.

It's time for another heated debate, (NB's not getting much of that lately)
So I'm going to open up with the topic of Abortion.

Wikipedia defines Abortion as a termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion from the uterus of a fetus/embryo, resulting in or caused by its death. Heh, it sounds so fine when you put it on simple terms.

So in any case I want to hear everybody's opinion on this, are you either:

Pro-choice: describes the political and ethical view that a woman should have complete control over her fertility and the choice to continue or terminate a pregnancy.

or are you:

Pro-Life: describes a political and ethical view which maintains that human fetuses and embryos are persons and therefore have a right to live.

And tell me why you chose this decision.

anyway I'm definetly pro-choice, one can argue that it is a life and it should be protected, but if thats the case it should apply to everyone no only to fetuses... plus life is random, ethics are a matter of personal choice, its not all black or white... so I think abortion should be an option, but at the same time it should be very carefully thought upon by whoever wants to do it... :|

We also have to look at the baby's perspective, if it had any thought at what's going to happen to him/her, I'm sure it'll choose to live as well. Exactly, if the mother can't take care of her baby, then just leave it to foster care. A lot of couples are childless and you're actually doing them a favor. I believe women should never resort to abortion at all.

Yeah. Because most teenangers don't suicide at all...

The fact is that most of them will end their lives after some years. I can't talk for myself because I had a lovely family (...until now) but I know that everyone needs a balanced family father and mother. Many babies don't get adopted at all. And those who are, imagine the shock when you find out that the 2 persons in front of you have no similarities with you.

Not to say that a suicide is more shocking then an abortion. Specially if you created bonds with that person, or just passed by.

(Btw, I'm not adopted, I have other reasons for my unbalanced family)

I agree on abortion.

Most of you are all teenagers (like me). Imagine you and your girlfriend have *** and then she is pregnant. You have your lives ruined, you can't leave your teenage like others, you have responsability, you have to take care of the baby etc, you cant have a normal life, plus is not just your teenage, is yours studys also, how can you study properly if you have to take care of a baby? you just cant, principally becuase you're a teenager and you arent mature enough for that kind of responsabilitys.

But on the other hand, im against it when ppl just make inumerous abortions, thats just stupid, then use condoms, take the pill (spell), make that operations so you cant pregnant your gf or be preganst (dont remember the name =/)

Pro Choice cause:

1. I have the right to decide what to do with my body.

2. If we shouldn't have to take this kind of decisions, God -for those who believe- would have made babies to be born in another way.

3. I don't believe in the words "death" and "murder" since i believe in re incarnation.

4. I believe that stopping an unwanted pregnancy is better than just giving birth to a baby you are not able to give a descent life to.

5. Babies should be born out of love not out of accidents.

Pro-choice:

I think babies should be born in a safe, loveing, and stable enviroment.

I do not think that abortion should be seen as the easy way out for teens who only want to have unprotectetd "relations"

What if you were a girl who was (god forbid) Forcibly subdued by a man, and became pregnant from that action. Why should she be forced to give birth to a baby that would constantly remind her of what happened, and would probably end up hating.

I'm Pro-life to the point of circumstances. With the exceptions that birth will lead to death, the baby won't make it, rape, or another, I think abortion is fine. However, I think if you even decide to have ***, you should be responsible, with the knowledge there will always be a chance of pregnancy.

So you are pro-life. What will you do when women get refused to enter an hospital because they want an adoption?

What will you do when these women decide to go to an illegal abortion site, with awfull conditions?

What will you do when both the woman and the baby get an horrible infection or even die on the table?

It sounds like a great life? Or you actually believe that abortions will stop when the law forbids with?
