Not only Kaku's douriki was a little higher but he had the advantage of being a swordsman too. That thing matter and put him "easily" above Jyabura. Kaku is, because of that reason, about 70 percent of Lucci. So Zoro would get a little difficulty against him, that's obvious.

In strenght department, you are mixing Lifting and Striking strength. They are two different things. As far as lifting strength goes, they are more or less equal, Zoro lifted a building and I can't remember anything from Sanji right now. As far as striking strength goes, Being able to cut a pacifista is a better feat than Kicking some building blocks and deflecting Oars punch.

Duribility wise, that's not even a comparison. Even a knock from Zoro was able to knock out Sanji(before Kuma), That was his limit. While even after that, Zoro took in all of Luffy's pain (Moria 2x+Oars+100 shadows)and Survived. And mind you, Zoro fought against Ryuma and also with Kuma, Zoro fought more than Sanji, so he took in more pain from the start and in the end too.
Zoro's durability is better than Luffy's too. (Actually a lot better)

-Also I got another one, remember the time when Sanji and Zoro fought Arlong. Why couldn't Sanji keep up? because he wasn't that strong. Why couldn't Zoro keep up? The cut from Mihawk(That cut would've left a normal person unable to move for about half a year, yet Zoro fought and defeated Hachi in that condition).

Zoro=Luffy, as far as I have seen.

Luffy doesn't use swords either...
Gomu gomu no mi.
Comparing luffy with sanji, seriously?
not to mention, luffy uses every part of his body in fights and have done many large scale attacks.

I guess Luffy does too huh? Same for Sakazuki right?
Your logic is terrible. Sanji is faster than Zoro. And Hells memories heat will probably force Zoro into using long range attacks which give Sanji more time to dodge. Sanji can also use Sky walk to avoid close combat if need be. He's already kicked Zoro's swords.
how can u put luffy and akainu in same situation as sanji? are you sure i am the one whose logic is terrible?
Both ,Akainu and Luffy have better haki than sanji.

Clearly you are trying to make sanji dodge or avoid those attacks and not giving a good reason as to how he can tank it.
sanji's speed is just slightly faster than zoro which does NOT make much difference.
Give a good reason of how sanji can tank zoro's attacks.
Yes, Sanji can avoid his attacks by using sky walk but he won't able to do any significant damage to him either, he is basically running away from him.

Then the other way round must also be true. Since their Haki is pretty much equal.
zoro's attacks are so strong that they can hard sanji even without haki. If he adds haki to his attacks then it will just grow stronger and if we are considering their haki to be equal then both haki will just cancel each other and it will on depend on whose base attack/defense is stronger and in this case zoro's base sword attack is stronger than sanji's base leg defense.
(i hope you get what i mean when i say both haki cancel each other out.
Like if we say zoro's base attack power is 2500 and sanji's base defense power is 2000 AND if their haki is equal and then both use haki in their attacks, both the powers are increased by say 500. Then zoro's attack power will be 3000 and sanji's defense will be 2500 , which still keeps them in same situation as it was in before using haki. )
Not really... I guess a nation with one man and a nuclear bomb has an advantage over a nation with no nukes but over 50 million people, right? Same concept. The weapons demonstrate a different fighting style. That's all.
Different fighting style, yes but it gives a big advantage to zoro which is sanji's downfall.

He wouldn't have an advantage over Luffy since Luffy can dodge etc. I don't think you've ever heard of that term based upon the prior comments you made. Luffy would win High Diff.

Of course he would take damage. Like how Zoro will take heavy damage from Sanji. Haki helps everyone.
Zoro can use his swords as a defense and add haki to it, then sanji has to breakthrough zoro's sword to reach him. Also, sanji's running speed is faster than zoro , their reflex are about equal or maybe zoro have better reflexes.

Luffy is faster than zoro but not so fast that zoro lose track of him and gets speed blitzed.
Luffy's most vulnerable point is when his body is stretched and if zoro were to strike him at that moment , its going to hurt luffy a lot.

What makes you think Zoro wouldn't of lost consiousness if Sanji had kicked him in the right spot? Zoro hit Sanji with the hilt of his sword to the ribs and Sanji wasn't prepared for the attack. Just like in Dbz when Goku and Majin Vegeta were fighting. Vegeta told Goku that they should work together but when Goku turned around Vegeta knocked him out in one punch because Goku wasn't prepared. My point was to prove that although Sanji isn't as durable as Zoro he isn't far behind either.

The fact that after that Zoro took Luffy's pain. That means all the kicking and beating Luffy withstand during his fight. Sanji passed out after one hit. Even if he wasn't prepared for the hit, it was just one hit with the back of a sword and it wasn't even in a part of the body that would make him faint (like the head). That was Sanji's limit, which shows that Zoro, in this area, is far above Sanji.

My point here was that although Zoro's enemies are stronger than Sanji's, Sanji beats his enemies with lower difficulty than Zoro does his. That fight really didn't have anything to do with Haki. He was getting decimated but then there was a flashback and suddenly he's able to dent steel. Going by that Sanji showed signs of CoO Haki when he fought Mr.2 and Jabra.

I think the fact that Zoro knew exactly were the rocks will land and the exact position of his katana, even though it was buried under the rock is not due to Zoro's oracular powers. I would like to see when something like that happened on Sanji's fights. Of course by that time haki wasn't even mentioned in the series but if you look back now the fact that Zoro predicted the rocks movement and was able to find the place of his katana along with the fact that he was able to cut through steel from one moment to the next is due to use of haki. My point is, Zoro's development was always faster than Sanji's. Sanji would never be able to beat most of Zoro's opponents, take mister1 for example, Sanji wouldn't be able to even touch him, while Zoro could beat most of Sanji's opponents.

[Sanji has shown better CoO than Zoro. The way CoO works is the more killing intent your enemy has the easier it is to predict their next move. Sanji's superior CoO makes up for Zoro's superior CoA and Zoro's enormous killing intent isn't helping him at all. Zoro's CoA being superior to Sanji's doesn't mean in any way that if Sanji coats his leg with Haki and Zoro coats his sword with Haki, Sanji's leg will get cut off in a clash.
That refers to not very skilled observation haki users. Skilled users can sense/predict attacks and moves despite the killing intent. Also, predicting only is not enough to win a fight. Zoro is fast and strong enough to effectively land an attack against Sanji. The better the armament haki use the strongest and more efficient the attack is. That was stated by Rayleigh in Luffy's training.
My point again is that Zoro isn't leagues above Sanji, but there's a noticeable difference and in a 1vs1 fight Zoro will be the last man standing.

Zoro is stronger, but by such a small margin that they are still in the same league. They both have their strong and weakpoints.

Those things were definitely some improvements on Zoro's parts but that's not Haki. CoO only works for living things.

I think that that's not right because Rayleigh said that Roger had the ability to listen to "the voice of all things" and that was how he "read" the poneglyphs. This was obviously a reference to haki, and also matches what Zoro experienced during his fight with Mr.1 .

You mean to say that Zoro will get something similar? Like Roger?

We currently don't know about Roger's unique ability to hear "the voice of all things", Was that Haki or something else? That might be Haki. But as of now, a/c to the databooks, CoO only works for living things, so it's not safe to assume that Zoro showed signs of Haki back then.

Well he did experience exactly that. Moments later he was able to cut through steel, most probably using CoA to do so.

Doesn't make sense. I means Zoro reacting to rocks and cutting steel was related to feeling the breath of non living things, while Haki is entirely different than that which is explained after these events with Zoro.

Perception Type

Sharpen the 5 senses and senses presence!

This type of haki allows the user to sense the presence of living things and emotional changes surrounding him. It is not used only in fights but is effective in helping the user foresee dangers and evade them!

Comment for picture:
A person with Perception Haki is very skilled at evading attacks and can perceive the opponent's movement even with his eyes closed!! The user can also swiftly evade an attack on his blind spot.

The different effects of the Perception Haki

Foresee the enemy's moves!
The user reads the opponent's mind and can sense his next move! It is an ability that can allow the user to avoid an enemy's attacks, foresees movements to land an attack and react to all kinds of situations.

The "Mantra" is also a Perception Haki
Eneru and Aisa et al are people who possess the Perception Type Haki!! Eneru combines the haki powers together with his Goru Goru DF in order to grasp any situations on Skypeia in a blink of an eye.

Grasping the surroundings!
By releasing Haki in all directions, the user can grasp the positions of all surrounding living objects without actually seeing them. As the skill and precision levels of the user increase, he can even gauge the extent of his opponent's prowess.

Comment for picture:
As the user's ability gets better, his perception area will also expand!

Ability to hear unspoken words from others' minds!
The user has the uncanny ability to sense the hidden sadness, anger in people even if their voices or attitudes are not let out! When the ability to sense such emotions is too strong, the haki user may also be overly affected by such emotions...!!

Comments for picture:
Coby was emotionally traumatised by the overwhelming sadness he sensed in the war.

See, doesn't look like it say that CoO also works for nonliving things. So that thing about Zoro wasn't Haki.

That wall of text. I agree with the title though. Luffy, Zoro, Sanji are of similar level being part of the M3 group etc. I think most would agree that Luffy and Zoro were equally strong before EL when Luffy got gears. Post timeskip, it seems that they may once again be equals with how Oda is portraying them. If not, Zoro should be closer to Luffy than he is to Sanji. That's the only thing those two are good at and they both had stronger teacher than Sanji. Not only did Sanji need to work on his fighting, but he also needed to learn those ingredients.

I think some pple are mixing the power or destruction(hakairyoku)
Power of Destruction
In theOne PieceWorld, certain swordsmen possess thePower of Destruction(破壊力Hakairyoku?), a product of immense strength and skill.
Users of this power can channel their energy through their swords and bodies, with a number of applications:
*.Lifting heavy objects or moving and reacting at incredible speeds.*.Cutting things that are usually harder than the sword itself, such as certain types of stone or even steel. The substance usually splits apart a few moments after being cut.
*.Transferring the force of a cut over a distance by swinging the sword at high speed, creating a"vacuum blade" of compressed air; or by simply creating strong winds with sword blows. This is known as aFlying Slash Attack(飛ぶ斬撃Tobu Zangeki?).
*.Cutting objects that are thicker than the length of the sword, such as buildings or ships.
*.Channeling elemental power into sword slashes, such as fire or electricity.
that what hakairyoku is peeps and though it gives the ability to cut objects that a swordsman normally cant, the ability is limited to solid stuff and unlike haki which if it is used to cut logia bodies they cant reform. with just hakairyoku cuts logia can still reform

Well, I don't disagree with your points but it would be strange to introduce an ability that will be showcased in the more distant future before haki got even introduced and then leave it at that.

Also, Luffy has in numerous cases dodged/blocked weapons coming at him out of nowhere by sensing them apparently. Like in fishman island, the weapons Van Der Decken sent to Shirahoshi.

Yeah , and? They're in the same league. Sanji would definitely cause even a G2 Luffy to struggle. Althought inevitably Luffy would win.
not to mention, luffy uses every part of his body in fights and have done many large scale attacks.
And? I guess since we've only seen Mihawk use bladed weapons (dagger and Yoru) then he must lose to Luffy right? Since to you it's the amount of body parts and appendages used which counts.
:|

how can u put luffy and akainu in same situation as sanji?
Your logic is: if you don't use a sword you will get cut in half vs Zoro. That's why they're in the same boat for arguments sakes. If you aren't happy because you can't counter or explain why my imitation of your logic is incorrect : then please go ahead and reiterate.

are you sure i am the one whose logic is terrible?
Certain.
Both ,Akainu and Luffy have better haki than sanji.
Luffy's isn't leagues ahead. Their CoO seems to be equal but Luffy has the edge with Busoshoku Haki. You treat Sanji like he's a part of the W3

Clearly you are trying to make sanji dodge or avoid those attacks and not giving a good reason as to how he can tank it.
Dodging is all you need. If you are a speed based fighter a la Sanji : then dodging is the best way to form a counter attack. If you're like Zoro and Luffy then blocking is the best way to counter attack. Sanji can still block pretty much all of Zoro's one and two sword style attacks with his legs (+ Haki).
sanji's speed is just slightly faster than zoro which does NOT make much difference.
Base Sanji... He's seen to be slightly faster with Diable Jambe and based off of that there's a high likelihood that an all out Hells memories Sanji is faster still. Speed wise:
HM Sanji>G2 Luffy>DJ Sanji>Zoro/Sanji>Base Luffy/G3 Luffy
(Asura is an attack so it doesn't count)
Give a good reason of how sanji can tank zoro's attacks.
Doesn't need to. Give a good reason on how Zoro can tank an attack where anything that touches Sanji gets set alight by a white hot (over 2,000 degrees c) flame at a focused point (Diable Jambe : it could melt Zoro's Katana) or Hells Memories where anything that comes close to Sanji is set on fire (Hells Memories)
Yes, Sanji can avoid his attacks by using sky walk but he won't able to do any significant damage to him either, he is basically running away from him.
I already knew of this. It's not running away , it is being tactical. Sanji won't stay up there for long.

zoro's attacks are so strong that they can hard sanji even without haki.
That's true for any mortal if they do not use Haki e.g. Sanji without Haki would obviously get cut (if he doesn't dodge or block with his feet)

If he adds haki to his attacks then it will just grow stronger and if we are considering their haki to be equal then both haki will just cancel each other and it will on depend on whose base attack/defense is stronger and in this case zoro's base sword attack is stronger than sanji's base leg defense.
Haki doesn't cancel the other out. Both participants will simply be harder to harm.
(i hope you get what i mean when i say both haki cancel each other out.)
You mean it's like they both aren't using Haki. Which is wrong.

Like if we say zoro's base attack power is 2500 and sanji's base defense power is 2000
If you're going with numbers:
attack power:
Luffy: 2600
G2: 3000
G3: 3200
Zoro: 2500
Asura (ONE ATTACK): 2990
Sanji: 2450
DJ: 2800
HM: 2900
There is hardly anything in it. With a similar scale in terms of defense.
AND if their haki is equal and then both use haki in their attacks, both the powers are increased by say 500. Then zoro's attack power will be 3000 and sanji's defense will be 2500 , which still keeps them in same situation as it was in before using haki. )
The difference between the two is not that vast. Seeing as they can both fight and defeat the same opponents ; i'm pretty sure that Sanji is not the equivalent of 5/6ths of Zoro. He's more like 95-97% of Zoro in terms of strength. I agree Zoro is stronger but i'm explaining to you why they are not so far apart.

Different fighting style, yes but it gives a big advantage to zoro which is sanji's downfall.
No fighting style has an advantage over another unless we compare the elements of a Logia vs another Logia element.

Zoro can use his swords as a defense and add haki to it, then sanji has to breakthrough zoro's sword to reach him.
Diable Jambe is hot enough to melt said swords. And Since to block an attack Zoro will use the back of his swords he cannot cut Sanji while blocking.
Also, sanji's running speed is faster than zoro , their reflex are about equal or maybe zoro have better reflexes.
Don't kid yourself on Zoro having better reflexes. Sanji is fast in all physical movements with equal reflexes to Zoro. In fact his Kenbushoku Haki probably maks his reflexes superior and more efficient to Zoro's. Zoro has the power , Sanji has the speed and agility.

Luffy is faster than zoro but not so fast that zoro lose track of him and gets speed blitzed.
Luffy is fast enough to ensure Zoro cannot counter attack without being hit again.
Luffy's most vulnerable point is when his body is stretched and if zoro were to strike him at that moment , its going to hurt luffy a lot.
And? Are you implying that Luffy is now weaker than Zoro? Don't make me laugh! Luffy can stop stretching. And then retract a limb or pull his body closer to his fist/foot/head. Meaning Zoro would most likely strike nothing but the air.

Since you talked about portrayal.. than you should've paid attention to the Moria arc.. where Zoro was able to tank all the stress that was put on Luffy's body.. while Sanji got knocked out with 1 blunt hit from Zoro's sword..

Vice captain has shown to be always 1 level above the others. Zoro and Luffy = 1-3% difference. Zoro and Sanji = 10% difference in power.

Zoro can tank anything Sanji has.. that is what you are not getting. Zoro is constantly (when it counts) portrayed as the second strongest in the straw hats.

i get that but it's like him having a nose bleed !!! i don't think that he might use it in a series fight imo

Ability to hear unspoken words from others' minds!
The user has the uncanny ability to sense the hidden sadness, anger in people even if their voices or attitudes are not let out! When the ability to sense such emotions is too strong, the haki user may also be overly affected by such emotions...!!

Coby was emotionally traumatised by the overwhelming sadness he sensed in the war.

See, doesn't look like it say that CoO also works for nonliving things. So that thing about Zoro wasn't Haki.
Zoro was able to sense/see/feel, call it whatever you like, his stolen katana. The only thing that makes sense to explain this is haki.

I don't disagree with your points but haki was explained rather late in the series, even though there were many haki users. Otohime was able to sense other people's emotions and "hear" their hearts. Shirahoshi is able to call sea kings. Roger could hear the voice of all things. My point is, haki is not widely explained. There may be other ways it can be used, that are not fully explained yet.
