Kurama doesn't do shit, its naturally incompatible with people like Sakura. Look at what happened to the guy who ate a piece of Gyuuki's tail for example. Naruto with his chakra control and special genetics altered Kurama's chakra to be compatible with other people. Kurama even states that Naruto is the only one that can do it.
