Not having a sharingan doesn't mean you can't fight they could have had good techs they could use ... And they would have had a plan and a chance of winning ... You can plan a coup just to go get everyone killed ..

An regular uchiha probably has the same level of taijutsu, ninjutsu, or genjutsu as probably your typical above average chunin. An uchiha with a sharingan will be able to fight people on a higher level and would have the prowess of a high chunin to jounin level ability. Then you have Itachi and family plus shisui who are high jounin to kage level in ability.

Though they have a chance of winning, it's not going to be likely considering how many ninja are in the village, even if they went about using stealth.

Not all Uchiha had sharingan, let alone MS or EMS.
Well the Uchiha had the coup planned so it's fair to say that they at least thought they had a chance, not saying they actually did.
Remember Konoha has a large variety of clans that would go against the Uchiha.
Then you've got to add in what the hell they were planning to do with a village filled with just Uchiha eventually other villages will clue into this fact and take advantage by invading and/or teaming up against them to steal village secrets as there would be no-one to protect them if they are all dead.
And anything hidden except by sharingan can be easily fixed by stealing the eyes from the corpse's as Kakashi became famous for being a non-Uchiha with a implanted sharingan eye.

OK you do not get it I'm the TS the scenario is that itachi and shishui were not in root or anbu and on the uchiha side meaning shishui would not have given the leaf intel on the cup and would not have tried to ka danzo for peace.....read the FREAKING FIRST POST STOP USING WHAT HAPPENED IN NARUTO ALREADY U PPL NEVER READ AND ITS NOT EVEN LONG OR HARD TO UNDERSTAND

I'll tell you what, I get what your saying. The Uchiha are acting like everything's gravy, Shisui and Itachi aren't helping Root/Anbu, then suddenly the Uchiha surprise attack the Leaf. It plays out like a good spy movie really. It would be interesting to see animated

shisui would have had ka ...meaning danzou wouldnt have it.. and hiruzen wont be able to take out alot of people with it due to his chakra reserves

they were chilling in their houses and tobi's popping up out of nowhere and suckin them in lol....they also didnt kno itachi would kill them, he could probably knock on the door and they would let him in assuming he's gonna ask for sugar or something next thing u know shuriken to the throat.

Hiruzen could not solo Oro and Itachi could solo Oro so if Itachi stays on the Uchiha side then the leaf is screwed.
