parents are stupid facks
you said it, Chase your dreams... but respect your parents regardless cause they brought you into this world. Just don't let them stop you from doing what you want most in life
Seems someone is hitting puberty.
That ship already sailed, I'm 17 and I think I'm aging physically quickly than others, already finding grey hairs on myself. This thread was made because there's a couple of things I'm thinking of doing after high school, and my parents think I'll die doing any of my choices.
You're still in puberty.
That being said; it's great that you already know what you'd like to do after college though, you have to respect your parents as well no matter what.
It's all about concern. Once you're a father you'll understand.
Damn, that was inspiring or something, made me feel tingly. Thanks man, this whole thread was made because I either want to join the army, go to university, become a professional cyclist or learn a trade and become an electrician or plumber. They think i'll die doing any of those things just because they heard of people dying doing those things on the news.

How old are you?
Hmm thats a wide selection of careers.. but I Guess go after whichever oneyou want to do the most and is most convenient for you. And show initiative so you parents can understand and then maybe come to support you!
I'll try to be respectful when it comes to speaking to them, it's just difficult when they want me to be super religious and eat butter chicken and curry, and not smash bishes, and not skate, not bball, not join the army, not go to college far away, etc.

Go Atheism.![]()
I'm 17, about to leave home this summer to do something with my life, but parents acting foolish thinking I'm going to die joining the army or going to college far away.
