Why should I listen to my parents?

Yo, so why should I listen to my parents? Usually when we're in an argument, and I tell them to F off, they tell me to listen to them and do as they say because they're my parents. They make obedience sound like a good thing. It makes no sense whatsoever. I'm from America, and America wouldn't even be what it is today if it wasn't for people rebelling aka disobeying King George aka Britain's rule. Disobedience is a very good thing, it shows you're independent and can fend for yourself. Did you know that the number 1 thing people regret when they die is letting people, including their parents, make their decisions?

If there's 1 thing I want to take from Naruto, it's obeying isn't a good thing. Anyways, who's with me? F parents! Unless they're cool and they let you chase your dreams and what not, then your parents are awesome, and I'd love to have them as my parents.

Sometimes I feel like my parent can be harsh at some points, but I've come to realize that they do it because they love me and want to get me ready for when I leave them. So you should cherish those last few years with them and be glad that you have them I hope this changes your views =D

Not really, my parents usually tell me to never go outside, so my parents don't really care about me getting skills or leaving them. Of course, I go outside anyways because staying inside like a caged animal is retarded.
