and he did think about her when he saved her from a strike from a zetsu that would've been a death blow... naruto had many fodder and even friends there were she was he could save but his shadow clone chosed her and defended her first.. he actually said thank you in his mind for the love she gave and guess what he did for sakura he called her a liar
