Yeah, I never really heard of the pairing till I went to FFN, and while it doesn't actually make sense (since they rarely interact), I like the pairing because it's cute. xD

2) Sasuke is a wanted criminal. Who the Raikage wants to hunt down. And tear. From limb to limb.
At this point, the nano-second Sasuke comes into visual of Konoha(or any other ninja village), if the war ends with him and Naruto not dying, he'll be killed on the spot.

Big point is, you can like the pairing. I could care a rat's *** about that, but when you SAY it's canon pretty much just BECAUSE you like it with no actual PROOF that's NOT countered, you got a problem.
And I can TELL you're going about it from SAKURA'S point of view. Already said this, you have to look at both the GIRL'S and BOY'S point of view. And at this point, this is what we're getting:
Sakura has mixed love/hate feelings for Sasuke, and if he sees her, Sasuke would want her to die by his hands.
Plus, Sakura's love is, as said, shallow. It was basically based off of wanting to fit in, and it's turned into some ****ing love triangle that barely makes sense on the girl's side.
I never stated that I liked, disliked, hated, or loved ANY of these pairings (expect KakashixIruka), now have I? I only said I would SOUND like one but you would have to deal with it.
