He should've been, yeah, maybe but remember..Gohan's arrogance was the reason Goku died the second time anyway. Again Mystic Gohan vs Buu. Had more than enough power to "neg diff" buu but failed due to arrogance. He's an ok character but he didn't really deserve to be Goku's successor, that's why the fans roared at Toriyama to bring him back. Gohan just doesn't get shit done when it needs to be done..unless it's homework.

goku said he wasent strong enough for him. now imagine gohan was only 11 years old at that time. goku was like 12 years old when the show began and his power level was only 10. gohan is like light years away ahead of gokus strength. and if he continued at that path he would have easily surpassed every character in dbz MULTIVERSE. even every god.

because of his such massive power level at such a young age.

Lel Gohan could of never been the main hero mainly because he's half Saiyan and so he concentrated on his studies not just his fighting.
