The new goku's god transformation is lously rip off of kaioken, and it doesnt even make sense.
over i dbz sucks because the manga rushed itself too quick and anime was very stretched out cashcow that took 1/4 episode for someone to yell kamehameha.
dbz also sucks because they made goku the main hero again, just because the fans wanted, i mean whats so special about goku, him being an idiotic dumb as nails hero that appeals to every 6 year old? and convinced entire HST verse to do the same for every shonen hero? naruto, luffy,toriko,natsu i mean what were editors thinking!!!??
gohan was perfect main hero because he was meant surpass his father in the end, just like naruto surpassed his father minato. also he was also a genius,smart had good morals, hes kind of like superman who is more hesitant when it comes to fighting, and only does it to protect others, while goku is more reckless and fights anyone who he thinks is strong enough for no reason. remember when gohan stopped those thugs, goku would have had no time involving himself with earthly affairs, because hes pretty much only there when there is a huge ass villian trying to blow entire planet.
and you pretty much can relate to gohan more because because of his humanized personality and emotions.
the reason why i think toriyama didnt made gohan the main character is because he then would have had to figure out how to power him up in the series, since he did because more of a nerd. if he had unlimited energy like superman, where at one points hes getting pwned by lighting and another moment hes bench pressing planets, gohan could have easily taken the role to be the main hero. but since he became soo weak at the BOG i doubt we are going to see gohan ever becoming this badass as he was before
and yes that picture of his is canon since it happened in the manga
hes just going to become a fodder and you have to blame AKIRA AND SHONEN JUMP EDITORS FOR THAT BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT THE MAIN HERO TO HAVE THOSE TYPES CHARACTERISTS IN HIM!!!
