Why do people think EMS Madara > Nagato?

I can understand if you think EMS Madara + Kyuubi > Nagato. I can absolutely understand when you say Edo Madara > Nagato.

But EMS Madara w/o Kyuubi is not better than Nagato. EMS Madara uses alot of Ninjutsu, and that gets absorbed. EMS Madara cannot create 25 Wood Clones + Susano'o clad. The only chance EMS Madara would have at beating Nagato would be Taijutsu, and I do not even see that happening.

Someone explain this to me?

I honestly do not know how Nagato will be able to counter the True Susano'o; Chibaku Tensei will get destroyed easily, Shinra Tensei [large scale] presumably won't affect Madara's Perfect Susano'o.​

Madara uses a lot of large scale Ninjutsu and Preta Path takes a while to absorb such Ninjutsu. At least I'm pretty sure.
I think a PS sword slash could break through Preta's Barrier as it's so large, quick, and destructive.

Plus, EMS Madara has far, far more battle experience than Nagato.
I'm not great at defending Madara because I usually don't, but imo he can take Nagato.

What makes Nagato so powerful Itachi defeated him and discovered his jutsu weakness in a matter if seconds of Nagato using it and EMS Madara is way stronger than Itachi...Nagato abilities with the Rinnegan are capped because they do not truly belong to him so his power is minimal he can never reach the true potential of the Rinnegan...I think EMS Madara is enough to take him down remember he is the most gifted Uchiha to step foot out of the clan

Madara's True Susano'o slashed and effortlessly destroyed three mountains just by releasing it's blade. Chibaku Tensei pales in comparison to that. CT will effortlessly be destroyed, as I have already stated. In addition to this, the slash is far too fast for Nagato to react to, as soon as Madara uses that swing...

How is Nagato going to have time to absorb all of the True Susano'o, given it's size? Regardless, all Madara need do is swing his blade once, that ends the fight instantaneously.​

nagato would destroy ems madara, people are still thinking that madara is the same as he is in edo state.. guess what.. HE ISNT.. nagato has way more chakra and he can tank madaras attacks.. perfect susanoo would be only problem but i think he can't maintain it for very long time without edo tensei..
