What makes Nagato so powerful Itachi defeated him and discovered his jutsu weakness in a matter if seconds of Nagato using it and EMS Madara is way stronger than Itachi...Nagato abilities with the Rinnegan are capped because they do not truly belong to him so his power is minimal he can never reach the true potential of the Rinnegan...I think EMS Madara is enough to take him down remember he is the most gifted Uchiha to step foot out of the clan

No it took naruto bee and itachi to take down nagato.if itachi wasn't there bee and naruto would of been beaten and same goes for itachi if they wasn't there.

nagato absorbs a bit of perfect susano, making a hole. then he just chills inside and flies about, eating up the chakra. the whole time, madara can't hurt him with anything, because nagato is inside susanoo.

I agree. Madara uses too many jutsu. In fact, all of them are usually gigantic and over dramatic. Nagato would simply absorb all of them with preta path, which also counters the possibility of hand to hand. I don't think Susanoo's magatamas are fast enough to abuse the lag in between shinra tensei either.

Madara is too over hyped. It just goes with the lore of the manga, it's his name thats got people saddling up to ride the d.

People can use PS or Susanoo in general as an excuse. Makes no difference since Nagato can also summon larger than life creatures. More than one different type at the same time, and in the case of the the cerberus, it just duplicates when it's destroyed.

In the time it takes Madara to activate PS, Nagato's got Planetary D.

Rinnegan is more powerful than EMS. As the fella above mentioned, Madara's eyes formerly belonged to someone else as well, so thats no excuse.

Why do you think that? Right now EMS madara is controlling the kyuubi while maintaining his perfect susano'o over it without any sign of fatigue. I think he can hold it up for 5 minutes (which is all that will be needed to destroy nagato.)

Madara has a blood contract with the kyuubi, hence it is his summon as naruto can summon bunta. Nagato is prone to genjutsu as any normal character. Things like chou shinra tensei isn't getting pass perfect susano'o, Chibaku tensei rendered useless by PS's destruction incarnate sword swipes which are far superior to a Magmata-Bijuudama-Rasenshuriken combo [

It's proven that Uchiha are better in using Doujutsu, Obitos Outer-Path was said to be far stronger than Nagatos, though former used it for a day. It's true, the Rinnegan is an upgrade of the Sharingan and the strongest Doujutsu, but only by those who awake it in the right way. Meaning, that the one combines both Doujutsu powers, has the body of a true Uchiha and possesses Senju DNA. But Nagato is only an Uzumaki with an implanted Rinnegan.

That a Doujutsu is supposed to be the highest in the evolution, doesn't automatically mean that a Rinnegan user is superior to an EMS user by default.

Let's not forget Nagato's mastery of all five basic chakra natures; namely earth style. Therefore he can effortlessly pass underground and exploit Susano'o's key weakness.
