Just beating a sweet commander doesn't mean that, if as Riker said that commander isn't equal to Cracker. Urogue would have to have beaten Cracker for anyone to say that definitively. Although Cracker is kind of a bad match up for Urogue who gets stronger with damage, kind of like the Hulk, so a strong fighter with tough armor and haki would only fuel Urogue's strength until it was at a point that it would break the armor.
But that's exactly the point we know nothing of the sweet commander at all they all share the same title for all we know they can be all equal in strength we don't even know who is stronger. It was said by Brûlée that as soon as Urouge defeated a sweet commander big mom sent out cracker to kill him then when luffy entered the forest big mom yet again sent out cracker to deal with luffy even though she knew he defeated doflamingo. By definition she sent out someone more powerful then doffy in her eyes. For all we know cracker is the strongest sweet commander because when big mom needs something done like defeating a powerful opponent she send out cracker.
not true to the world doffy was beaten as a group effort of the law luffy alliance not just soley to luffy.... this is further implied when they both have the same bounty etc after dressrosa..
TBF we don't know how the fight played out, he could have tried going after her early and so it had no chance of working so he focused on Luffy? We know water makes them soft enough for a jaw to destroy so Nami could/should be able to break them while wet plus she had the vivre card she could have made homies defend her. Plus if he goes after Nami while his defense is so weakened that's when Luffy could pop out and attack him. Just because he couldn't find a way to stop Nami mid fight w/ Luffy doesn't necessarily mean he's dumb.
That's not fully true it was really luffy who got the credit for defeating doflamingo that's why his bounty increased more then law's did. The reason big mom sent cracker was exactly for that reason he told Brûlée that specifically that big mom didn't think she could handle the straw hats alone so she sent him to take care of luffy. She acknowledged luffy's strength for defeating doffy so she sent her biggest guns at luffy one of her sweet commanders. If luffy was known as the man to defeat doffy it would make no sense for her to send Someone weaker then doflamingo. I agree with you cracker should've taken out Nami but he couldn't she had all the homies protecting her even the king tree guy got half his head cut off protecting her.
