[Discussion] Who will face Katakuri ?

If Katakuri is on Crackers level or Marcos level, like I fell he is (my opinion). Then he won't even be defeated this arc, the way I see it, BMs strongest commander, if he is that, should be too strong for any one not named BM. Can you imagine the downplay if Sanji and his brother brought down BMs strongest commander? I doubt Marco or Beckman lose to Ichiji + Sanji, so I dont see why that shouldn't be the case this time.

But if Luffy got stronger from eating and resting then he would be my choice to bring down Katakuri. Would make sense for Luffy to be approaching that level anyway considering Marco most likely will be on Wano and I seriously doubt Odas going to have them be so far apart in power.

I don't think anyone on the SH Capone alliance side is capable of taking him on 1v1, so prob nobody by themself. I don't see any end of arc battle schemes taking place in this arc.

Agreed, this was just suppose to be a rescue Sanji, get the poneglyph and get the hell out of there arc. Maybe some commanders will be defeated but not the important ones. This is Yonko ground and the SHs are missing most of the crew.

I agree. Little skirmishes maybe but no such battles. Even capone said if the plan fails they have a zero percent chance of taking down BM

Sanji will be the one to fight and defeat katakuri 1 vs 1 especially with the introduction of the other monster of the big mom pirates it's almost a perfect set up

First son perosperp vs first son Ichiji
Eldest daughter of the charlotte family vs eldest daughter Reiju
Second son katakuri observation specialist vs third son sanji observation specialist
Third son daifuku vs second son Niji
Smoothie vs Jinbe
Fourth son oven will be to strong for yonji so probably him and Caesar will fight oven.

This Notion of yours that sanji is two tiers below luffy is really comical especially since the results of the 2 year training of the monster trio hasn't been seen yet besides luffy so that makes no sense.

That's not proven fact and it's easily countered because it was already stated that gear 4 uses to much Haki by law and when it times out luffy needs time to regain his Haki so calories don't play a part.
I honestly believe that people have highly underestimate luffy and sanji based on the minor feats and title of their opponents have we already forgotten that urouge had already defeated a sweet commander alone so by portrayal urouge is stronger then luffy. A fight against cracker is a fight of stamina in a straight up fight luffy vs cracker luffy would've probably mid diff to low high diff cracker.

Luffy says that Gear Fourth burns up a bunch of stamina, which means his calories decrease. If he maintains a steady supply of calories, then he'll maintain a steady supply of stamina. Calories are what fuel Gear Fourth, and calories are what he got eating the biscuits.
