Ppl forget Jman's sage mode needed some prep and even in sage mode he has nothing to take on Oro's eight branch tech. Also, idk why other characters are being mentioned, we are smart enough to evaluate their strengths without bringing up fighters they had with other ppl, childish. Oro only has to prep Edo and he doesn't need to use that in order to win, maybe to have an emotional effect. If he gets into sage mode he has that audio genjutsu, but thats if...sage mode has like a 6min prep time where he has to clasp his hands together....Oro>Jiraya

Who is stronger. Well i would say Oro only on the fact that sautobi stated that he was the best of the three to be choosen as Hokage. But assuming that oro and jman were suppose to be equvilant to sasuke and nauto then obiviously jman is stronger. But that doesnt mean that oro and jman could beat the same people. oro had a serious disadvantage at times when jman didnt but jman didnt know as many criminal justus to take the upperhand in a fight.So i would then say that they are Even.

the strongest? as in terms of power? that would be Orochimaru, due to him having edo tensei. a technique that comes with no drawbacks and allows him to revive kage-class shinobi that come with immortality.

That technique alone put orochimaru above tsunade and jiraiya.

now as far as versatility goes, then jiraiya takes this. His "displayed" jutsu arsenal and battle intelligence puts him above both orochimaru and tsunade.
he can basically counter almost any situation. now i will state a list of jiraiya's versatility and feats


-he is the only ninja that can use oil
-his sage mode basically grants him unlimited chakra and greatly enhance his ninjutsu and striking power making them more lethal
-he has one of the best chakra levels in the manga
-he has access to one of the strongest genjutsu in the manga ( frog song)
-he has the best ninjutsu for inside places/buildings and that is ( toad stomach)
-he has a wide variety of summon whereas tsunade and orochimaro do not.
-he can hide in a toad
-he can seal you in a toad's stomach dimension which is full of acid.
-he can flood the battlefield with a tidal wave of boiling oil
-he can turn the ground you stand on into chakra infused sinking mud instaneously
-he can use a major wide scale fire technique
-he can take control of ones mind and hide himself within their shadow
-he can kick you so hard, you'll go blind
-he can summon a mountain sized toads... on top of you instaneously
-he can manipulate and expand his hair to trap and impale you and use it as a defense
-he can shoot a barrage of needles that could pierce your organs
-he can escape from battle any time he desires.
-he can infiltrate villages by either capturing a ninja and taking over his shadow or use a toad and hide in it's mouth
-he can manipulate dimensions to fit multiple people in his tiny toads and carry to and from battlefields.
-he can turn people into toads.

jiraiya is more versatile than both orochimaru and tsunade put together.

but orochimaru is still stronger because he has edo tensei. but jiraiya takes the title as being the more versatile

I think this is a good observation. But anyone could learn IWR. You just have to have someone to have the guts and lack of respect for the law to teach it to you. And why didn't this guy make a poll...?

His only true reason of coming to konoha was to warn danzo that the deal stil holds even though the third was dead.......He had to fight them since they attacked him, but as shown he spared kaakshi's life, leaving kaakshi wondering why he didn't just kill him.....He couldn't act suspicious in front of kisame....and he did not want to actually take naruto and give him to pain.....And sage mode takes a shit load of prep time for jiraya

Although true, if Jiraya is in sage mode, Ma and pa can disrupt his chakra flow and get him out....the problem is getting into sage mode, when he has wood flying at him from all directions, and water dragons etc attacking him no Jiraya was moving and he did want to fight kaskshi to test hes power

you cant actually count edo tense as apart of his strength cuz hes relying on other s-class ninja to do his wrk so how i see it jiraya is way stronger than orochimaru. you should re-watch the fights the two of them fought and see for yourself

Orochimaru...When jiraya can take oro + 1st + 2nd, askk this question

Jiraiya can use the stomach toad technique to paralize any endo tensei kage oro may bring back to life, adding he could hide in a toad to attack each one separetely or use it to have enough time to get into sage mode, and he could summon up to 3 giant toads agains oro´s summoning. No gentutsu affect sage mode, its faster than oro, adding the fire rasengan he would use giving him a clear advantage, the reason why jman was unable to defeat oro is because he was numb due to tsunade paralisis potion. Jman is way stonger than oro, he even took on the 6 pains all at once without knowling the techniques of each one. Jman is the most powerful sannin, plus he knows all sealing techniques that were taught by Minato, including rasengan, only missed on learning FTGT which seems its to complicated that only minato could execute.

Where did u get 6min from??

A little prep time won't be so hard, he did it against Pain. He can just summon an army of toads like Gamambunta and company to hold off orochimaru.

If Oro was stronger than Jiraiya, than why did Oro didn't kill Jiraiya all those times Jiraiya was chasing after him. And I doubt that Oro had any feelings for him as Sasuke had for Naruto. He evaded Jiraiya because he know he couldn't defeat him in battle.
