Who is the best in Genjutsu?

the title of the thread is "who is the best in genjutsu" not "who has the most powerful genjutsu". madara has the most powerful genjutsu but itachi is the best in genjutsu hands down.

Itachi or Danzo is my pick. I'd love to see Kishi build up Sasuke's use and Sakura's since it was said she was talented in the use of it. We never really got to see Genjutsu used to its full potential imo.

you sir make no sense.danzo,really? when did you ever see danzo use a genjutsu? and dont say izanagi. Izanagi isnt a genjutsu, its an ability

Definately Itachi. That is really what he is known for. Shisui had 1 great MS genjutsu but so does Itachi + many 3 tome genjutsu + regular genjutsu + forbiden genjutsu

And Itachi says right after that "Shisui's eyes created the most powerfule genjutsu". This DOES NOT mean he was the most proficient user of genjutsu.

Itachi beat with genjutsu- Orochimaru, Dedara, Kakashi, Kurenai, Naruto, and technically DSM Kabuto
Oro, dedara, Kurenai and Naruto were all without MS too

Itachi didn't confirm or deny the most powerful genjutsu. I personally think that Izanami is probably more powerful than kotoamatsukami. And if Itachi ever really wanted/ needed kotoamatsukami he would have just put Shisui's eye in his own eye socket.

BTW Zetsu says in chapter 389 that Itachi's "left Mangekyou possesses the most powerful genjutsu" and his right the most powerful physical attack
