Who did more for their Country? Minato or Itachi?

Why is everyone keep saying Itachi did more because he had to kill his clan? Do any of you remember one of the major thing in Naruto? "Bonds" Kishi has bonds everywhere in Shippudden. I don't know if any of you remember Sasuke telling Naruto and Sakura that he cut his bond with them, we see this when Sasuke was going to stab Naruto and chidori Sakura. Now what makes you think Itachi didn't sever his bond from everyone in his clan except Sasuke? Have any of you remember Sasuke's flashback when Itachi was accused for killing Shisui by 3 other Uchihas? Itachi was cold towards them and talked bad about the Uchiha clan, then his dad came. Now my question to you is why would a double agent draw attention to himself? Itachi grew up seeing many deaths and became a pacifist, this alone would have him dislike his clan for wanting to start a civil war. Plus it was stated Itachi alone couldn't kill the whole uchiha clan, Tobi helped him do so. Minato stopped the cloud ninjas from kidnapping Kushina and gaining their 3rd Jinchuuriki, this kept the balance of power even among villages. Creating the rasengan paved the road for Naruto to save the village. Some say none of the Hokages would sacrifice their family yet I remember Minato sacrificed Kushina to save the future savior of konoha and the ninja world (Naruto), Stopped Tobi from not only destroying Konoha but all Tobi's moon eye plan. Minato played a huge part in the 3rd war also, plus he sealed his chakra in Naruto that stopped Naruto from releasing Kurama and destroying Konoha even more than Pain. Yes Itachi stopped Tobi from attacking Konoha but Tobi only wanted Kurama, Minato stopped Tobi from trying to get Kurama while Itachi postponed it for 16 years. Fact Is Itachi killed a clan he severed his bonds with with the help of Tobi, postponed Tobi's moon eye plan for 9 years and you say he did more? Itachi left the village and took the blame so the Uchiha name wasn't tarnish but that doesn't help the village since the Uchihas are dead. Only time Itachi showed feeling for his parent was during Tobi's attack before the Uchihas planning to take over Konoha. And No Itachi wasn't the one who told the elders about the Uchihas, the elders knew only the Sharingan could control the fox so who do you think they suspected. They put Itachi on the case because he's an Uchiha, was the leader of the Anbu black ops and Danzo took advantage of Itachi's pacifist nature of wanting peace.

Minato like the hokages sacrificed their life and have gained recognition by a statue.
Itachi sacrificed not only his loved once (something no other previous hokage have done), but also sacrificed himself. Instead of being acknowledged, was put in the bingo book instead to be hunted down and killed.

Uhhh... Minato sacrificed himself, including his eternal soul, the life of his wife, and the future of his just-born child... In case you missed it... LOL

They are both from two different time lines, if Minato didn't do what he did, then their wouldn't be any Uchiha sacrifice! , it's not fair to compare those two situations, Althouh I'd say Itachi, Minato didn't have to kill his own family, it's easier killing your self than killing your whole family, therefore I say Itachi! U_U

Itachi saved the village from a war, that would have lead to total destruction probably.
And he had to kill all his clan and live like rouge ninja for the rest of his life. Still he kept an eye on tobirama and danzo, even as a rouge ninja he kept protecting konoha. He failed to kill his little brother, but its undestandable. Though we see this as a mistake for sasuke turned out evil.

Minato, saved konoha from total destruction, he was the only ninja at that time able to protect the village from tobi+9tails.
He sacrificed himself, to seal the kyubi inside naruto, and lost any chance of an after life because of this.

They both saved konoha from total destruction, still Itachis burden is bigger than Minatos.

Still i think both characters died cause of plot-no-jutsu.

Yeah itachis burden was greater than minatos and they both did their best thhey shouldnt be compared and say who did better. The thng with minato and naruto is that minato had to die to make his son stronger, thats the thing with prophecies they happen no matter what you do even if you try change it you contribute towards it
