Who did more for their Country? Minato or Itachi?

We know both did a HELL of alot to keep their Homeland safe, but who do you think sacrificed more?

Konoha's Yondaime Hokage: Minato Namikaze.

Akatsuki Double Agent and Mster of the Sharingan: Itachi Uchiha

Hard to say. Itachi sacrificed his clan and family to save tens of thousands. He agreed to join Akatsuki with the stipulation that they not target Konoha.

Minato sacrificed his life and his afterlife because he believed his son would be the true "Savior of this World"/"Child of Prophecy" and save the world from Tobidara.

Quite even in my opinion.

Minato like the hokages sacrificed their life and have gained recognition by a statue.
Itachi sacrificed not only his loved once (something no other previous hokage have done), but also sacrificed himself. Instead of being acknowledged, was put in the bingo book instead to be hunted down and killed.

Itachi saved the village many times if you think of it....

1) He saved it from the uchihas,

2) he saved it from a ninja war

3) because of him, konoha couldnt be touched by akatsuki... which means he gave Naruto time to get stronger, because when he finally died,and pain went to konoha, if naruto wasn't there and that strong, it was over for that village

They both prevented the destruction of the hidden leaf. Minato by defeating the Kyuubi, Itachi by preventing a civil war. Just because Itachi 'did more' to reach the same outcome doesn't mean squat. It's even so everyone stop getting emotional.

and the only reason naruto is alive right now is because of itachi....
