I lol'd at the "Obito is Kishimoto's finest creature". How can't you see that his original personality got completely butchered and ****ted on? And I'm not talking about Tobi here, as I don't give a **** about Tobi, I'm talking about Obito's character, the one we first saw in Kakashi Gaiden. You understand that EVEN Madara(who some people consider the evilest of evils) has more reason to be evil and is more sympathetic than him?

Also, the problem with what you're saying "Tobi WAS Madara, he had to act, etc".- he was NEVER "acting" as Madara, he used his name and knowledge of his biography, and that's it.

I somewhat agree, but you just listed off the most obvious parts of his character, him needing to act like Madara, and then him finally displaying emotion in more current chapters. The Konan mask bit was interesting though, that is when you finally see a different side of him.

What I like about Obito is his contrast of youth to adult, and how he lost his core ideal of those who abandon their friends are worse than trash, which is what he had selfishly decided to do every since meeting Madara. He was like early Naruto, but now he is determined to complete his personal goal, much like early Sasuke. He has been a great character throughout the series, but the mysteriousness that revolved around him while being behind a mask is what I like to think of him as, his character now is too much like a self centered Sasuke, but obviously there is a purpose to that.

Tobi wasn't the revealed Madara, Tobi was a good boy, LOL! A good boy who joked around and made silly comments because many (myself included) theorize that Tobi's voice was that of the spiral Zetsu and not Obito.

I know he loved Rin but when he first appeared, although he looked weak, he seemed to have a solid idea of right and wrong. But now it's more like he is a pawn in Madara's hand. That is his only reason for becoming a villain. He doesn't care that Kakashi was Rin's murderer and being stuck in a cafe with Madara had no effect on him.

Oh i see...yeah when he was young he was kinda a goof. But after Rin died, could he ever really be like that again? He does seem to like being around Naruto, Kinda like pain did too I think. Maybe they see a younger version of themselves in him?
