I hoped something to counter Sasuke's powers... But as someone speculated in the thread before me- ever since Madara's dubious claim of giving Nagato his rinnegan I wonder if Sharingan has something which helps activating rinnegan in Uzumakies.. I know that's too far ftched but Madara has gotten a little too powerfull... Kabuto just wasting time and energy of the alliance at present.

Thats another thing i thought itachi probably gave him a counteractent because sasuke can suppress his nine tails power.

But where did Itachi get an ocular jutsu that trumps that of the sharingan? I know we never saw him at full power and all that jazz, and if he had something that great then why did he not give it to sasuke?

Well maybe it's again one of those senju blood + uchiha things...for example I believe that that is how rinnegan was born in Nagato..that maybe Madara gave him the original Sharingan wich mutated into Rinnegan in senju body

He probably thought that if Sasuke decides to be evil in the future too, then Naruto is prob. the only one who can stop him.

That's a great theory, i know that izanagi has to have both senju and uchiha, and since they both descended from the So6P then maybe that's why madara said that he gave nagato the rinnegan and itachi found out how.

I think Itachi gave natuto uchiha bloodline to activate the so6p bloodline and to counter sasukes's tsukuyomi.since naruto already has the following blood lines, uzumaki from mother senju from his father. i also thinks it's related in activating his rinnegan.

He got Senju from his mother because the Uzumaki clan is blood relatives with the Senju...
