Dude if Kishimoto just let Neji one shot people through the Gentle Fist - Heart/Brain combination assault than there would be no point into having Neji fight in the first place, because he'd get no type of character development, just a oneshot gg type of character. Not to mention going with how strong opponents are now simply going in for a oneshot is unfathomable.

That doesn't take away from the fact that Gentle Fist can, and will oneshot if aimed @ the head, or heart.
