True weakness of the Shinsuusenju

Honestly, I don't know why I nor anyone else thought of this earlier

ranged attacks.

Why in the bloody hell did Madara move close enough to the Shinsuusenju for it to be able to punch the kyuubi/susanoo?

If he were to keep his distance and keep firing the TBB, the Shinsuusenju wouldn't have been able to break the armor


The fox was shown to be pretty damn nimble, so it should have been able to get to safe distance within seconds

Just look at the scan below, he got way too close to it. What the hell Madara? you could have won.

I don't, but the kyuubi might be quick enough, I don't know.

I wonder how quick it moves though, still I would have really enjoyed seeing Shinsuusenju try and catch the kyuubi, probably like trying to catch a cat.

I blame plot, Hashi had to win.Maybe it was Madaras plan to lose in the first place.

You speak as if that thing had no mobility....and beside he had been attacking from a distance with biju dama. it would defeat the purpose to use susanoo to attack from afar.. he could have just made kyuubi attack from afar and his PS from up close. either way he would have been countered. so madara put his full force into close range.

He counterd the biju dama...and he beat madara's ass up close...but things happened during that fight...Hashirama>Madara...Fact

Ah I see then, yeah I didn't bother looking at the comments before posting. :O I didn't take this into consideration before and I'm pretty sure some people didn't either.. people always refer to the scan of Shinsuusenju beating Kyuubi with PS armor when a debate of Madara and Hashirama pops. With this in mind if there is a debate concerning this then it wouldn't be far fetched to say that Madara can win.. this also brings up the possibility of Naruto being to do this too.

Not saying it was faster..hell no, but the size of it means it could cover alot of ground. it had the power to be able to connect from afar. Madara was attacking from afar and his bijuudama/susanoo sword was countered. im sure madara knew long range was not an option.

he wasn't as far as you make it out to be; the shinsuusenju was summoned at arms length to the kyuubi from the start

Lol your sig shows kyuubi jumping up in the air while firing tbb

true madara might have been better off jumping around and shooting tbbs at it but the summons have time limit and genjutsu control is temporary and even during the fight the genjutsu wore off on its own without Hashirama having to do anything about it

so madara might have thought it better to use up kyuubi's power to negate shinsuusenju as quickly as he could before time runs out so he used up the tbbs at one go instead of dodging and evading
