Guy hollers with excitement
"Yes! This is the absolute highest quality there is! Nothing helps train the skills more than life or death training!"

Guy then jumps into the hole and waits. Crutch Sensei then begins to drop the earth back in the hole and a few rocks humorously fall on Guy's head. Brushing this aside, he waits and this is eventually consumed in darkness by the earth. He stands, slowly getting more claustrophobic and begins to meditate ease his mind. He then feels the roughness and smooth sides of the rocks against his skin. He begins to feel the blend of earth and focuses on it. After finally finding the balance, he sends chakra to his feet to blend with the earth. Completely ecstatic and ready, he rushes up by blasting the chakra underneath his feet while changing the nature of it to become earth, screaming loudly. "YOUTH!!!" He passes through the layers of earth above him with his fist held high and finally reaches the surface. He continues rising higher and higher until a pillar appears in that is twice the size of Guy. Guy stands proud with his fist held high, "This is the Power of Youth!!!"

Jiraiya jumps down into the hole, waiting patiently until the hole is full by Crutch sensei. Eventually the entire hole gets covered up and in the silent darkness, he began to concentrate his chakra within. As he's doing this, he gets a good sense of how it feels to be buried underground and feels how cold it is but also the various amounts of texture that are here. Jiraiya felt the roughness of the rocks against his body but also the softness of the dug up dirt. Feeling this made him realize how much variety earth really can have in its shapes and size. With this in his mind, he imaged a pillar of stone, and at that moment he released his chakra to the bottom of his feet, while applying shape manipulation and forming it into the picture he had in mind, soft dirt transforming into a rock hard pillar. Releasing the earth chakra and having that picture in mind he begun to rise up and surfaced out of the hole.

"That was pretty awesome."

The earth beneath you rises up and lifts you out of the ground as you stand atop the pillar you created.

_____________________________

This is how I will train you: I will first post the technique and the describe it in my own words, and then state a few sentences about the usefulness of the technique both offensively and defensively. I would like you to respond by by telling me:

- how you would perform the technique in battle
- how you will use the technique offensively
- how you can defend against the tech
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting

I would like a few sentences for each point or a few bullets. Whatever you prefer. I'll be going at 2 to 3 techniques per post to keep the training moving. I may go one at a time if I wish.

(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

This is the technique you just used, answer the question I have given you for each technique about this one. Be sure to include how to use this technique in combination for "how to use offensively."

- How you would perform the technique in battle?
I would perform this technique by using it to creates tools for myself, such as swords in conjunction with Kenjutsu techniques I have learned. I would also use it to protect from other D-Rank Techs aside from Lightning of course.

- How you will use the technique offensively?
I would use this technique offensively by making a wall around the opponent from underground, trapping him from moving. I would then make a final pillar strike right underneath the target as a spear to pierce through the opponent. how you would perform the technique in battle

- How you can defend against the tech?
I can defend against this technique with a offensive D-Rank or higher Lightning attack or a C-Rank or higher attack from another element. Alternatively, if the user cannot sense where I am, he would not know where to strike the pillars against me, so I can use a simple technique like the Hiding in the Mist technique to prevent the opponent from being able to locate me. This of course would mean I'd have to activate the techniqe before the opponent were to make his move.

- Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
I do find this technique interesting and useful. One of the benefits of this techniqe is that it allows a user to create tools they don't have on standby. Additionally, it requires no handseals, so it is quick. Also, the pillars and other formations made by this technique can be used both offensively and defensively.

How you would perform the technique in battle? In battle I'd be using this to create obstacles that my opponent has to be cautions of to put the battle in my advantage. I could always use this to create weapons to have an upper hand on the enemy if we come in contact or if I just want to throw something from a distance to him.

How you will use the technique offensively? I could just make doton kunai's or swords and go throwing/swinging at my enemy with the weapons I just created. I could also trap them by surrounding them by pillars forming by him and basically squish him between all the pillars.

How you can defend against the tech? I could defend myself against it with another D-rank jutsu to just clash with it except with suiton since doton beats it and raiton because that beats doton. Using raiton element though, is the best way to defend against it though.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I find this move interesting because you can do a lot of things with it. I think it's a very good tool to reposition ones self in battle because you can make a pillar and lift yourself in the air and do an attack mid air or just lift yourself if something is going on, on the floor. It also is very good to obscure the opponents vision since you can create a lot of pillars and hide behind them.

(Doton: Gansetsukon) - Earth Release: Rock Section Cane
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

This is similar to the first technique you learned. You send your earth chakra into the earth to then manipulate the earth into the desired shape. This one specifically allows you to turn a small chuck of rock and make it thinner and longer to form a staff. The staff can be used for physical attacks or it can be used as a projectile and thrown as if it was a javelin. Or you can use it to make your opponent guard against a wide area by making several staffs and launching them all at the opponent. The first method is more of a direct attack and the second method is a distraction meant to be followed up with a surprise attack. To defend against the first method, a simple lightning technique or fire/wind blast with physical power would work. Second method a larger fire/wind blast would work, but a earth wall would work as well.

( Doton: Iwa Rendan ) - Earth Release: Rock Barrage
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will concentrate their chakra into their arm and then release their chakra creating a ring of rocks that are then flung at the opponent.

To break it down, this technique is just throwing rocks. You focus your earth chakra in your arm and then release small amounts of it and materialize the earth into small chunks of earth. You create several rocks and momentarily create a ring around your arm, then fling all the rocks at your opponent. Offensively, I find it useless. You better off using kunai or shuriken. Defensively, the opponent is throwing rocks, I think you can figure this out yourself and tell me how to defend.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I'd use this tech to be able to distract the enemy by launching this jutsu as a projectile, giving me an opening to do a surprise attack on the person. Depending on the situation, I might create the staff and fight a head to head fight, however, I find this best as a projectile based move.

How you will use the technique offensively? This tech is very useful because it allows you to use a little bit of earth (just a rock) to be able to make a staff or multiple staffs to be thrown at the enemy, though with less accuracy. This is good because it can allow for an opening from your opponent which can lead to you using another attack to follow up on this.

How you can defend against the tech? The best way to defend against this is by just firing a raiton jutsu at it, or a powerful katon/fuuton jutsu. If it's just a javelin/staff being thrown at you, you could always use a earth wall to stop it as well.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I personally don't like this too much. It does what a lot of other stuff do, which is make projectiles, however, I can see why it could be useful, since after all you can use this as projectiles to throw the enemy off.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I'd honestly just use this tech to distract my opponent since it doesn't really offer much aside from flinging rocks at them. It'll just annoy them and possibly force them into a position of my favor.

How you will use the technique offensively? Offensively you'd just be throwing rocks at the opponent, so basically that. I view it as just as something to get the opponent moving, or into a situation he doesn't want to be in at that moment.

How you can defend against the tech? Basically the same as mentioned earlier. Raiton jutsu should easily counter this. Same with a offensive katon/fuuton jutsu. A earth will will do as well, but honestly you could probably just side step this and avoid it.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I don't find it all that useful since it's just throwing rocks at the guy and it can easily be avoided. I'd just save up my chakra for a better move instead.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would perform this technique in battle by utilizing the staff as a pole-arm weapon for combat. It could effectively help me in free from fighting how the attack works. Additionally, I may throw several weapons ahead as a means of distracting the opponent so that I may strike and prepare with another move.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- Naturally, this technique would be used offensively to be thrown as a projectile towards the opponent, or used as a pole-arm weapon to combat the opponent in close combat.

How you can defend against the tech?
- If several were thrown at me, a raiton technique would be able to cancel it out and overcome it. Also, I may use a Fuuton technique to possibly blow back the staffs. If the opponent used it as a pole-arm though, I would utilize a sword to fight back in the similar manner.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- Usefulness, I do find it to be useful because it can help you if you are in need of a weapon, and also as a means of attacking an opponent. I myself enjoy close combat weapons, such as bo staffs, nunchucks, swords, etc. Because of that, I enjoy this technique.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would use it to simply distract my opponent or lead him to another position of my choosing.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- It would be used offensively if the opponent were racing at me, this technique can effectively stop there momentum and also force them back, which could lead to a counterattack.

How you can defend against the tech?
- A lightning technique would be great to block this, or maybe even fight back against this technique with the same technique, effectively canceling out both.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- I mean, every jutsu has it's use, but this one isn't that great. It's also not that interesting. It's probably not going to be a jutsu I'll use very often

(Doton: Ganban Kyu) - Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Mid/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.

This is a more advanced technique than the ones that you just performed. This one requires you to perform the Rat hand seal. Hand seals are used to precisely channel chakra in the required amounts to manipulate the elements the way you desire. This technique is very simple. By sending your own earth chakra into the ground beneath your opponent you can cause the earth on both sides of them to form two large sections of rock to move around and crush the opponent in the middle. The technique can be used offensively to cause the opponent to defend their sides while you attack from the front or back. It is mostly used to widen the array of your attack and cause you opponent to defend more. To defend you can just smash one side of the sections using lightning or other earth and escape.

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

This is like one of the previous techniques except a bit more advanced.

"Now unlike that technique, this technique involves focusing the earth chakra in your body not into the earth. Focus your chakra into the outside of your entire body and especially focus on your arms and legs. Then use the earth chakra in your arms and legs to dig into the earth while simultaneously using the earth chakra to move the earth around you. Burrow under ground beneath your opponent and move the earth beneath their feet so that when you drag them down they are dragged into the earth an stuck. This is good offensively to attack your opponent when they do not know your location or when you have a clone do this and the opponent is unaware of the clone. To defend if you see your opponent use it, send lightning into the ground, if you don't, as soon as they grab you respond by using a lightning tech to attack."

Read this again as the concept is essentially the same and doesn't garner another write-up. Key thing to keep in mind is that you do not merge with the earth, you dig through it. So spikes underground can still stab you and you can still get crushed.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- As you have stated, I would use this technique to cause the opponent to go more on the defense, as he would have to take care of the earth around him by avoiding it, or destroying them, thereby allowing me to strike while he is distracted.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- Naturally, this technique would be used offensively to crush the opponent from both sides.

How you can defend against the tech?
- As you have stated, I would defend against this technique with a lightning style attack to rocks, or use the next technique that you are teaching us to hide underground.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- I do find this useful as it can effectively shift the opponent's focus in battle, which gives more of an advantage for me to strike.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would use it to simply distract my opponent (like Tobi did) or to get out of a sticky situation.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- Offensively, I would use this technique to get close to the enemy and utilize the earth pillar technique taught before to strike up at the opponent. This is okay because it is a D-Rank technique, so it would not mess up my focus underground.

How you can defend against the tech?
- As you stated, I would defend with a lightning attack to stream lightning into the ground, or perhaps use a technique that can place sharp objects within the ground.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- I find this extremely useful, as it is certain to help escape from situations where there is nowhere to move besides into the ground.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I would perform it much like you said beforehand. I'd use this to get my opponent on the defensive side of things and try to find an opening to attack.

How you will use the technique offensively? You would use it to try getting them in a "corner" by either crushing them or making them do something that would leave them open for another attack by you.

How you can defend against the tech? A raiton style move should be a good defense against this particular move or being underground with the other tech that has been shown.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I find this useful because it's a easy jutsu to perform and it can get the job done quickly if done right. It also leaves open space to throw in another attack while the enemy is on the defensive.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I'd perform this tech by just doing as you said, moving the earth around while focusing my chakra with my arms and legs. It would be great to move around with.

How you will use the technique offensively? This tech is good for offence because your enemy can't see where you're coming from and it's a fast way to move around. It also give you the element of surprise because your enemy doesn't know where you'll surface from.

How you can defend against the tech? Essentially the same as the previous move, a raiton move would be great against this such as just pouring a stream of lightening to the ground.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I find this useful and interesting by the fact it's not really you manipulating the earth that much but also using your arms and legs to do so. It's very good to move around with and having an element of surprise to go along with it.

(Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes

Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target.

This jutsu uses your earth chakra to manipulate existing earth. The user will send their earth energy into the ground and move it beneath their opponent. The user will then merge his own energy with the energy in the existing earth beneath the opponent. The user will then call their energy to rise from the ground while sharpening it. Since the energy has now become one with the earth, this will cause the earth to rise up with the user's energy. The earth is sharp enough to pierced flesh. This technique is used mostly as a pure distraction technique. It has not other true offensive uses. A fighter would use this to create spikes under his opponent to make him cheaply respond to give time for the fighter to follow up with another attack. I personally find it somewhat cheap to just start out with this technique first turn, but in certain situations, if can give you the upper hand. To guard, either use a lightning techniques to make the pillars crumble, or if your bio has the speed and reflexes for it, use a technique that strengthens your feet and smash the pillars with kicks as they rise. The latter is mostly for finesse points.

Description: The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground to create a small tremer that can result in harming the enemy target.

The user sends their chakra into the ground and then wildly manipulates it underground. This will be enough to cause a small tremor in the earth enough, not strong enough to make your fall, but strong enough to make your lose your balance. Though it reads offensive this is more of a supplementary technique. Mostly it is used to occupy the opponent to give time for the user to use another technique. By itself, it is not very strong. To defend against it, I would first channel chakra to my feet to stick to the ground as it shakes. This will prevent me from losing balance. Then I would take to the air to perform an aerial attack rendering the tremors useless. Or use a lightning jutsu that travels through the earth to cancel out the earth chakra while also attacking your opponent.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would perform this technique as either a method of distraction as you said, or after binding the user, in a Genjutsu perhaps, thereby making the person locked before being able to move. After being pierced, then the rocks can stay to hold the person in place, leaving them vulnerable to an attack

How you will use the technique offensively?
- I would use this techniqe offensively, simply the way it was stated to be used. I would strike the opponent, mainly through the limbs to pierce through and bind them. Or, I would go for a finishing move and go straight towards the heart

How you can defend against the tech?
- As you have stated, I would defend against this technique with a lightning technique to crumble the rocks before they can pierce through.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- I actually find this technique very useful given that it is a great way of changing the offensive tide of battle.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would perform the technique when the opponent is on the offensive and getting close for combat. I would use this techniqe to slightly throw the opponent off balance, giving me enough time to react and recuperate.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- Offensively, I would use this technique to ruin the opponent's balance right before they land from a previous aerial attack. The sudden change would make it even more of a surprise for them.

How you can defend against the tech?
- As you stated, I would defend with a lightning attack to stream lightning into the ground, as I would not want to stand still while the technique is used (so I wouldn't hold my feet still with chakra)

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- I find this technique useful only given that it can disrupt a person's balance, albeit momentarily. In the end, I don't think too highly of it.

How you would perform the technique in battle? What I would do it how you mentioned it as well. Probably something to just get the upper hand on and this would work great with making my opponent move in a specific way before attacking them again.

How you will use the technique offensively? Offensively I would get them into this tech and force them to dodge, and in that case, he'd fall into something else.

How you can defend against the tech? A raiton tech should be able to cover it and people with speed and reflexes should be able to maneuver around it as well.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? The most useful thing I can see from this is starting out with this tech in a battle and just forcing my opponent to do something they really don't want to do.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I'd use this tech to get my opponent to lose their balance for a moment which could lead to me throwing out another tech, preferable a raiton one.

How you will use the technique offensively? It can be used offensively by making my opponent lose their balance like you mentioned and hit them with another offensive attack. This could also be another way of counter my opponent when their about to perform a tech.

How you can defend against the tech? An easy way would be using a raiton tech but you could always use your chakra on your feet to hold balance with the floor or you could just be aerial and avoid the tremors.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? What I find useful about this is that you can really disrupt an enemy move by making them lose balance and in that case this would lead you to an opening.

(Doton: Dorosandan) – Earth Release: Mudshot
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 10
Description: The user spits a thick globule of mud at the target. If aimed correctly, it can blind the target's vision and choke them. It can also be used to create a sticky patch on the ground.

This jutsu is a little different than other earth jutsu. It doesn't require any hand seals, and also does not harden the earth chakra completely to give it a solid appearance. This earth jutsu involves focusing earth chakra in your stomach and moving it up to your mouth while making the earth chakra softer. The end result will be that instead of a solid sphere of earth, you will release a glob of mud at your opponent. This is useful offensively as unlike other earth techniques that are solid, this one has more malleability and can used to stick to targets instead of just striking them. The technique is useful in close range as you can suddenly spit out the glob of mud at one of your opponents body parts without the use of hand seals to create an opponent for your to strike. It can also be used in conjunction with fire jutsu since the its mud like properties allow it to be heated up much faster. Guarding against this can be similar to any other blast technique like a fire ball or wind blast. Creating a wall of earth to stop the glob is simple, or overpowering it with a lightning blast to cause the mud to harden and crumble also works.

Descripton: This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside.

This jutsu is only useful in a cave or near a cliff. It has not real offensive uses or defensive uses. It works by using earth chakra to weaken existing rocks to cause them all fall down on top of the opponent. The user doesn't exactly have precise control over the where the rocks fall just the general area since the user only loosens the rocks. Since it doesn't require hand seals it is a good jutsu to use as distraction. To possibly follow up with an earth technique from below. To defend against it, you can use a tech that allows you to skillfully avoid the rocks, blast to the rocks, or one that shields you from the rocks.

Description: The user spits a thick globule of mud at the target. If aimed correctly, it can blind the target's vision and choke them. It can also be used to create a sticky patch on the ground.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I'd perform this tech when I'm up close to my opponent and I want to try to get them occupied and immobilize their moment, even if it's just for a second. This would also allow me to possibly get my opponent to be blind or even choke if aimed perfectly.

How you will use the technique offensively? Offensively I would shoot this at my opponent and get them stuck to a surface, if it be the floor or a wall and use another tech in conjunction to hurt them since they're "tied down".

How you can defend against the tech? A good way to defend against this would be a earth wall or even a lightning blast to either harden the mud or just make the mud crumble.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I find this tech actually incredibly useful in fact. It's perfect to be able to get my opponent to be tied down and I can even use this in conjunction with another tech, such as a fire blast. It also gives a possible bonus of getting them blind or choked out.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I'd perform this tech if only in a cave. Otherwise I probably wouldn't ever use this because there are plenty of other things that are more reliable.

How you will use the technique offensively? The only way I would use this offensively is by just by causing existing rocks in a cave to fall down on my enemy. This would give me a chance to use another tech in conjunction to that though, which could be good.

How you can defend against the tech? Either by having good agility and speed with reflexes, you could avoid all the falling rock. You could also just blast at the rocks with lightning and/or you would put up some sort of shield to block the incoming rocks falling down.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I don't really find this tech particularly useful. The only idea I can come up with is using this as a big distraction while in the cave making the enemy avoid around. A big problem I see is that it could possibly fall onto me, which I don't want.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would perform this technique as either a method of blinding the opponent, or sticking them. I find both of the uses for it as an effective method. I can effectively stop a person from moving forward when they are rushing, by making them stick to the ground.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- I would use this techniqe offensively by aiming at the target's eyes and then trapping him by sticking him to the ground (only if successful in blinding him) That way, not only could he not see, but his movements would be limited as well.

How you can defend against the tech?
- I would defend by trying to harden the mud and making it crumble, or preventing the mud from sticking in the first place by blocking with another attack or defense, like an earth wall.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- Very useful. This technique is great for limiting an opponent's senses as well as limiting their movements. Very effective for countering

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would perform the technique when the opponent is on a cliff area, so that the floor will fall right beneath them, causing them to fall. I'd also use it in a cave to cause rocks to fall from above on the target.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- Offensively, I would use this technique to make rocks rain down from above on the target, making them distracted, and giving me a chance to attack them while they focus on the falling rocks.

How you can defend against the tech?
- I would use a C or D-Rank Lightning technique to defend from all the rocks falling down.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- Considering the times to use this are quite limited, it's not that useful. However, when the conditions are met, this is actually quite a useful technique.

Description: After forming the needed hand seal Tiger, the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud that throws them off balance and away from the user. The mud created by this technique can also be used as a medium for the Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet technique.

These techniques are in the wrong order on the jutsu list. I will do them in the reverse order as above. I will explain both techniques at once but I want you to explain both techniques separately as you did all the techniques before. Earth Flow River is a basic technique. It uses one hand seal to turn the ground underneath the opponent into a river of mud. Similar to the last earth jutsu you learned that does no completely solidify the earth, this technique also keeps the earth as mud. As I mentioned before, this is done by keeping the user's earth chakra loose giving it a mud-like appearance. This technique is not offensive by itself but can be used to follow up with an offensive counter. This technique is mainly used to distract the opponent. It can be increased in power by using a fire technique to heat the mud. You can easily defend against it by solidify the mud with lightning and breaking out, or by using a technique that will enable you to block or avoid the river. This technique is prerequisite to the Earth Dragon Bullet which uses 4 hand seals to change the shape of the existing mud to that of a dragon's head. The dragon's head can release bullets of mud at the opponent which can then be combined with a fire technique. The user can block these bullets with another earth technique, or a wind or fire technique with physical force to push them away.

How you would perform the technique in battle? I'd perform this tech when there is existing mud already. Doing so, I can use this in conjunction with another tech, such as fire to deal more damage to my opponent.

How you will use the technique offensively? Offensively I'd be using this when I have my opponent around mud, which would allow me to use this tech. When fired at, I'd in all likelihood use it with a fire tech to do more damage.

How you can defend against the tech? A good way to defend against this tech would be by using a lightning move to stop it or by using a wind/fire tech with power behind it to blow or burn the mud away.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I find this move very useful. You'll be at a point where there will be mud present and this would be a good move to use on them while they're distracted with the mud and you could even use another move with this to add to the mix. It starts becoming a little difficult for the enemy to deal with.

How you would perform the technique in battle? The way I'd be using this tech would be by just inserting my earth chakra into the ground loosely and make the earth into a river of mud, which will get my enemy stuck in the mud and be distracted by it.

How you will use the technique offensively? Getting my opponent stuck in mud would leave him open to another possible attack such as the previous move that you mentioned to use.

How you can defend against the tech? Either by using a lightning tech to harder the mud and just free yourself or something that would allow you to avoid the mud river traveling towards you.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting? I find this tech useful because it allows me to possibly trap my opponent, which would lead to an opening for me. It's also not necessarily an offensive move but I can create the opening to transition into one.

How you would perform the technique in battle?
- I would perform this technique whenever there is a previous mud source so that the technique can be used right away, and then follow up with a fire technique to increase the power and destructive force of it.

How you will use the technique offensively?
- I would use this techniqe offensively by simply aiming this at the target, and most likely in all cases, I would use it in conjunction with a fire technique.

How you can defend against the tech?
- I would defend by trying to harden the mud with a lightning technique, or using a fire move of higher rank to overpower the technique and strike at the opponent with a now lava technique.

Whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting?
- Very useful. This technique is great in the case of mud being around the area, and can easily increase it's potency with an additional fire technique.
