Toksong

Toksong is the peninsula’s biggest cultivator of its namesake; tea. Over the course of generations an extensive network of irrigation canals have come to cover most of Toksong’s fertile lowland. A range of ports and port towns litter the coastland, thriving on the export of the cured tea leaves and import of other goods. Contrary to expectation, Toksong's cultivating capabilities remains in tact, somehow surviving after the Cataclysm, since taken over and continued exactly to its standard practice. The tea there is grown with obsessive care by the citizens of Solanaceae, harvested once per season to distribute and serve throughout Solana, for Solana.

Coming From :

Songbird soared through the air easily now, clear skies and no Mountains in sight. Lena looked down to see the patterns knitted in the grasslands below. The irrigation canals that this part of the Tea Peninsula was famed for were below and being worked. Lena did not have business with farmers however, as with before. She closed in on the coast of Toksong, closing in on one of it's Port Towns. She found a patch of land that seemed a little inactive to land before making her actual approach. The bird dropped her off, seemed like no one was really around this area of land so she seemed in the clear.

No one paid her any mind in the town and went about their business. A lot of goods were being shipped and pulled through, even with Chungsu hit, Tea seemed to still be in demand everywhere - this would definitely be a good piece of land to claim to get some kind of economical stability. Specially for Ashikaga's cause. There was the odd sentry walking around the streets, Lena didn't really want to cause trouble or suspicion with them however as they could be working with Ashikaga. She kept to herself and they kept to their's.

She found herself nearer to the Piers now, there was a line of mighty Trade ships and vessels decorating the docks. Much more prosperous than the piers at Shinramoto. Lena was nudged by a man walking passed her, he turned around to look at her - his eyes widening a little at her appearance before shuffling on. It didn't bother her. Best place for her to probably head towards was the Trade houses, if anyone was discussing business about current affairs it might be there. However as she began to try and find her way there it was as if the world knew she was looking for direction - one of the men Lena had stopped the night when Ashikaga's messengers came into town was walking down some wooden stairs from the second floor of a nearby Inn. Lena approached quietly, moving with crowds of people and then quickly shifting over to behind a carriage of goods that were being pulled in that direction. He didn't notice her, why would he need too? He was too pompous for that.

He diverted off the main path and walked towards a pretty tall building, he walked up the stairs that circled the outside of this corner of the building. Lena waited for him to reach the top before following up the stairs, staying close to the wall and quiet. People just kept to themselves walking passed. She ducked when she got to the top as there were windows and followed the wall around. She saw the Man she was following walk through a door into the building, she quickened her pace managing to reach the door before it closed she stopped it with her foot. Remaining low, she let out a breath and slipped through the Gap. The Man was now with the others that he was travelling with on the other side of the corridor, chatting through the door with someone. They were let in, Lena through her hand out - one of her metal cards shooting towards the door, sliding between the door itself and the frame, stopping it from closing fully. She quietly shuffled over and pressed against the wall, she turned and peaked through the gap in the door - she could barely see anything, just this man that must have been the one that let them in. He was an older looking gentlemen with a cigarette in his mouth, he had both his hands on his hips and looked down at the ground in what seemed to be a bit of annoyance that he struggled to hide. The two parties talked to one another about the state of the town after Chungsu fell and how the rest of Toksong was doing, the older man seemed confident in his Town's profits and didn't seem to appreciate or want this offered "help" to keep them going.

"Frankly, I don't think we need to get involved with this man Ashikaga - he can call himself the heir of whatever he wants. Chungsu is in ruins not this place."

"We have control of Degarashan, we control the Tea peninsula's main form of resource and goods, it's defence and military. People come to swear fealty every day and we get more technology added to our cause. We can rebuild!"

"Sounds to me that this Ashikaga just wants to become the new leader of the world, maybe we should just let it up to the people. Trade still happens with out a king, the world hasn't ended - just seems that when someone tries to create something big it all comes crumbling into disaster and more people die. If this Ashikaga was so ready to rule this nation, he'd be trying to unite the clans, not hunt them down and kill it's people. Not saying I agree with the Clans either, but they are at least trying to bring stability to the areas they control - one man can't run an entire country!"

"Mister Surita, you carry a lot of influence in this place and the other ports here at Toksong, without your guidance the trade systems would have crashed months after Chungsu's collapse. We need a man that can manage things like you."

"Heh... Flattery? I plan to retire soon, my students have been trained well however. Toksong will still stand long after I've gone."

"What if you're gone, but not really gone?"

"What are you say....UGH!?..." All Lena can see is Mister Surita, except his cool stature has disappeared, his lips part as his cigarette falls to the floor - a long piece of shiny metal sticking out of his chest, a blade. Blood started to stain his white shirt and began painting the floor. A Couple of other moans are heard as other men are cut down, probably Surita's men. As Surita collapses with the sword still in his back, he struggles for air, trying to clutch the ground. Lena watches as the man she followed stood over Surita, he made a hand seal and transformed into Mr Surita himself. He then spoke,

"We'll convince them to join Ashikaga, they'll see him as the true heir and become loyal - if Surita says Toksong is in trouble of trade collapse. They will believe it, go and kill his students."

Lena's eyes widened as she heard the other's nod and shout in confirmation, "The people of Shinramoto are next, they dont really have a leader so we'll just but them under our thumb once we gather big enough military, we have enough weapoons coming into Degarashan to keep them scared and under our control."

"We'll see about that" Lena said in her head. She moved down the Corridor quickly, finding the door she came in to began with and instead of following the balcony around she simply hopped the railing and landed on the floor below. She heard activity above as the Men that had murdered Surita walked out. No one would believe her in this Town as no one had reason too, she just had to look after Shinramoto. Ashikaga was reaching further, it was only a matter of time before his influence would be cemented here - Shinramoto still had time, depends how quickly Toksong would give in to the matter.

Her Next destination would be Degarashan, she needed information on her potential enemies. She kept to the allies and off the main roads of the Town as she approached the southwest district and continued until there was no Town to hide amongst. Lena looked back, watching it shrink towards the distance, her feet starting to hit flooded grass, farmland and irrigation was making a come back. She decided to walk through here as there were people farming, calling a giant bird from the sky might attract attention. She walked the rest of the way until she reached the border of Toksong, taking flight again when farmland ceased.

Whilst flying through Toksong, Lena remembered the issue with Surita's assassination. The Assassins that visited her village could return at any time and be disguised. She had to be extra careful.

Geets and Boit reach the land Vegeta had traveled before with Supah Snake Snizzle Dizzle Pitvizzle, and he scans the Land marks below and around, taking in all he could see with his Xray telescopic vision afforded by the Byakugan. With a solid map of the area's in his mind, Geets directs Boit away from the area, heading north once more..

Coming from

Lena and her trail of evacuees make their way through the edge of Toksong, staying away from the Coastal towns. Lena didn't want a run in with more of Takauji's men. She'd have to deal with the corruption here later on as they were pretty close to Shinramoto, however she was sure they'd be busy building up Degarashan again with it's recent fall.

Coming from

Ryuu continued travelling northwards. Unlike the place he had just come from, Ryuu was surprised to notice a stark difference. This land was fertile and had canals running through it. There also seemed to be a lot of activity on the shore area. Curious, the boy went over to see what was there. Seemed like this land was big on tea. After drinking a mug of herbal tea, the boy went off on his way again.

"Finally," Cindra would proclaim atop her lungs as they reached the city of Everstone in the land Tokosong. The trip had been a long 18 hours, unlike the past trips they went on. A storm had crashed on their journey, so they had waited it out. Now finally free of the storm and in the city of Everstone, the two would begin their goals. Cindra simply to feed the horses and prepare for the next trip out, and Hop delivering the produce. Hop would first go to the store owner that he was told to escort the food to, Deric the store owner was overjoyed when Hop presented him with them produce. He would explain to Hop that lately he hasn't been getting food that he ordered, as their had been lots of bandits in the area and that he has been loosing busyness.

"I didn't run into any bandits on my way here," Hop would tell the Deric. Deric would shake his head confused.

"I don't know kid, but you must've been really lucky. The bandits out there are really stunting this city's trade." Hop would nod his head understanding.

"I'll remove the bandits," Hop would say to the clerk. They would raise their eyebrows. "I may not look it, but I can fight." The store owner would scratch his beard.

"If you insist kid. But I gotta pay you for the deed." Hop would shake its head.

"Just promise to tell me information on this landmark after I'm done." The clerk would nod his head

"So, I plan on taking out the bandits in the area," Hop would tell Cindra. She would stroke her hair and look onward past Hop before responding.

"Okay, as long as you can finish quickly," she would say to it. Hop nodded in response but just as he was out to tell her something, a loud bird cry rang from above it. Hop would look up in surprise to see a big black raven, with a white tail. The bird would cry again, and fly in circles around the sky Hop was under. "What is that," Cindra would ask Hop. Hop would close its eyes recalling the date and time it was. January, 18, Saturday. Its already that time. Hop would sigh as the bird would now cry out for the third time.

"Its time," he said to Cindra. "I gotta go to Moon Isle." Cindra would raise her eyebrow intrigued.

"You mean that island?" Hop would summon two shadow clones to his side.
(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20 (total chakra is divided by the final number of clones plus the user)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

"Yea, I need to be there," then to the shadow clones, "You guys back each other. And if my calculations are right: she is old enough to join me on my journey. Can't wait." Cindra tilts her head confused.

"Why? And who is this girl?" Hop would send off the shadow clones as the bird in the sky would fly off.

"I'll answer you questions later. Hold on to them, first comes the bandits." With that, Hop would run off outside the city to find the bandits as two of its shadow clones would run to the docks to sail off to Moon Isle.

Coming from here

Ryuu traveled through these lands known for their tea, eager to reach his destination quickly. As he reached the shore, the ink user used his own means for traveling over the sea by creating an ink bird just large enough for him to sit comfortable on it. The bird then took off to the skies above the ocean with Ryuu on its back.
