But that's not exactly reacting in a battle though, the definition changes when you're applying it to combat. If you can effectively react then you can effectively counter attack. In a battle, you'd want to counter your opponents offence and by doing this, you have to be able to react. You're giving a range to reacting such as barely reacting to being able to react quickly, but when we're talking about reactions in versus threads, we're referring to the latter; being able to react quickly. Reactions in VS threads = having both the speed and reactions to effectively counter.It isn't about what you believe reaction is.. it is about the actual meaning. These confusing debates occur due to people not knowing what the thing they are talking about is.
His quickness has nothing to do with his reaction time. If someone lifted even one finger against Minato's ftg.. that would mean they reacted to his FTG. But couldn't do anything about because they didn't have the speed to do it.
Counter attack has nothing to do with react.
