tobi is someone that was around when gaaras dad was kage thats why kisame knew him.

my guess is its someone from around that time someone that was probably recruited by zetsu someone who lost family friends in the last wars because he is someone that thinks there could be no peace but its someone that naruto will use his talk no justsu to convince him.

IDK but I am feeling Izuna and then he has one of Obitos eyes because of the similarity with Kakashi's Kamui and thats the reason why Tobi never used the other eye!!

Actual Madara survived his battle with hasimara and got the rinnegan before he died. Also Madara was the first to be able to control the fox with the 3 tomoe sharingan (after getting EMS), Tobi is shown to control in this fashion too and it's shown uchiha's use the full power of the sharingan better than those who get i implanted. Itachi always have Sharingan active except twice..

Are you telling me Madara secretly went back to the leaf village, to the uchihas clans secret meeting place after the fight with Hashirama to decipher the stone monument of sage of six paths with the rinnegan?
And afterwards went out, to inform Tobi about it?

I think it sounds unlikely, given the fact he felt betrayed by the uchihas.
As far as we have seen Tobi has always had the sharingan, so impossible for him to know about the ten tails, unless Nagato translated it for him at a time with the rinnegan.

Listen, Madara unlocked rinnegan. He died. He entrusted Tobi with his rinnegan to give to someone so that he could be revivend using rinne tensei rebirth (or whatever it's called). They chose Nagato.

Tobi is most likely Izuna because it had to be someone who would go to such lenghts for Madara. The excuse 'but we saw Izuna dead', that doesn't mean anything, it was most likely a coverup. There is a part in the manga (cba to look atm) where tobi describes how Izuna gave his eyes willingly, but he clenches his fist when saying it. I think Izuna is gettin abit pissed off at just doing Madara's billing which is why i think eventually Tobi will betray Madara's original plan. We know Madara must be part of the plan cause in the manga he says 'mankind will be better in the infinite Tsukuyomi'. How could he have known about it when he was revived if he wasn't in on it from the beginning?

I would also wager that Madara used some sort of genjutsu on tobi to keep him obedient but you can see his commitment is starting to slightly waver.

Anyway back to the story, Nagato was chosen because he's Uzumaki and Rinnegan takes up so much chakra. But he betrayed Tobi by using the rebirth on Konoha. So Tobi/Izuna got screwed over there. That's why Madara said ' that brat nagato finnaly grew up'; he didn't know he was actually revived using impure world resurrection.

Yeah i think that is most likely. Many facts in there that prove your points. But i put a little ? behind Izuna. Altough it fits perfect we have to wait for the manga -.-

This is somethin I have been thinking off aside from the numerous theories about Tobi. Correct me if anything, I have been thinking about this.

Tobi at the kage summit, told about the ten tails and sage of the sixth paths story?
He said that only those with sharingan and rinnegan are able to read the stone tablet at wich the uchihas posesses.
A rinnegan bearer would be able to understand the whole tablet, about ten tails and sage og the six paths.
But a sharingan bearer would only understand some?
As Tobi currently wasn't a rinnegan bearer, how then is he able to know the whole story?
We saw edo Madara achieve the rinnegan, wich came as a big suprise, but he testified that it occured before his death against Hashirama.
So there would be no way he would have read the stone tablet, and informed Tobi about it.
Or maybe Tobi took Madaras rinnegan after he died and read the stone tablet, then took em off and put em on Nagato, sounds very unlikely to me.

The least we know this is all coming from Tobi, an untypical sharingan bearer, stockpilling sharingan eyes at his lab somewhere.
As he said at the kage sumit "I like to stockpile good eyes" refering to Sasuke, this gives me the impression that he is without respect to uchihas wich leds me to believe he isn't one either.
Also he has an active sharingan all time as Kakashi, wich further supports it.

At the fight against Konan I think, he states that he is the second sage of the six paths, and that Nagatos was the third, if this is to be true then it sounds to me as if Tobi has a long story, way back to Rikudos time.
The think is Tobi just knows too much about everything, he has shown that he is a mastermanipulator and without doubt the most ambitiouness, independent of time.
Even Minato took him very serious on hos words, he sacrified his life in thrust that his child was the child of proffecy, wich is destined to face of against Tobi.

This all has led me to believe, that Tobi is in fact one of the sons of sage of the six paths, none other than the younger son.

This all comes from the time Tobi spoke with Naruto where he told about the two brothers, and about the older brother getting mad because he wasn't chosen by Rikudo to led.
Tobi has stated that he is weak, that he lost his powers somehow?

This is what I think happened.
1.
The younger son was chosen to led by Rikudo, but the younger brother had evil intentions, he was a mastermanipulator that even fooled his father.
After the death of their father, the younger brother sought to reign under his definition of love wich was to control all people somehow.
This was the reason the older brother was mad that he was chosen, and he fought against him, and gave him severe damage so that he would lose most of his powers, and after that he himselft died, resulting in the younger getting obsessed with the powers of the uchihas.

2.
The older brother was rightfully chosen to led, resulting in the younger brother after Rikudos death, to want the led. This would assume Tobi lied when he told Naruto that the younger was chosen, but we all know Tobi lies.
So the younger son sought to fight as to achieve all power, and he was in the fight damaged so severe that he lost most of his powers, by the older before he died.
The younger brother was evil to begin with.

Tob himself told the story about the two brothers, he said the younger brother believed in love, and the older in strenght.
Tobi is talking about love here!
he believes his solution the moon eye plan is the final solution, his definition of peace.
Also we have only seen the senju perform time space jutsu "second hokage" as Tobi seem to master, the senju.

The reason he lives this long is because he was blessed with the power of rikudos body, a very long lifespan, and given he was the very first senju also.
And if you look at the picture, the younger brother has the same hair as Tobi
and also the eyes look much alike.

This is what I believe, what do you guys think?

While this is a good theory since it can't really be disproved but I don't think this is in fact who he is. But to add to your note that it might be him, this could very well be why he was so eager to help in the Uchiha massacre. I think he wanted to help because of his anger with the Uchiha not sure what they did to get him mad but it could be the simple fact he wanted the eyes. But I don't think its the Senju son. I could list why I don't think this but that would take to long and I can't disprove you I just think its a bit to deep for what Kishi usually comes up with.

didnt sakura do an autopsy on Zetsu and said he's living plant clone grown from cells harvested from the first hokage and didn't tsunade say that if tobi developed a technique to harvest those cells he could probably use them on his body as well

I absorbed story of this series and read many times i can.i think tobi is the first son of the rikudo senin because
1.he is using only very powerful techniques even with normal sharigon and even control a tailed beast with his eye power alone.
2.When tobi implanted the rinnegon it doesn't take long time to settle down with his body, like sasuke had to wait to get ems.
3.When the sage asked them how they going to bring peace to the world the first said he will do with eye power (just like tobi doing now). so tobi is the first son of the rikudo senin.what you guys think
