tobi cannot be the sage of six path cause according to archive, The SO6P created all the jutsu that exists today, but Tobi had to learn ET from Kabuto.
SO6P can no way be scared if he where to face Kabuto or edo tensei, but Tobi was a bit nervous. If Tobi were the SO6P, the tailed beast would recognise him almost immediately. and if Tobi were the SO6P who can create out of nothing with the izanagi; why need the other tails or something,why does the SO6P want to keep Hashirama's DNA, why did Kisame call him "former lord mizukage?"

About your theory... Nice effort. But could you also explain why ppl don't just seal the chakra of the other beasts inside ppl, instead of sealing chakra+beast soul!?!?
Because if it was like that, I'm sure it would be far more easy to control their power, not having to worry about the beast attitude.
Conclusion, the beast soul is most likely trapped in the moon with his body.

Updated my theory on who tobi is.

After an extremely long quest from all Naruto fans to figure out Tobi's real identity, i Believe i have Finally confirmed who he is!

Remember, when you predict, do not only predict through the events and facts in the manga, but try to predict through kishi, and try to be him for a min, and see through his eyes, for he is the creator of the Manga after all!

When kishi created the character Tobi, a Masked man famous for his mysterious identity, im sure he realized that pretty soon every one would be wondering "Who" he is, and then he declared that its madara, and yet we still didnt see his face, and lately we found out that he isnt madara!

so far we've only seen part of his face, and it was old and wrinkly - but i believe that was nothing more than a disguise, a distraction from kishi so we wouldnt ever suspect the real truth, in short, i believe every identity or revelations kishi has shown about tobi is nothing more than a distraction to keep the truth hidden!


Kishi knew that we would all be wondering "Who" tobi is, izuna, madara, obito, shisui, kagami, that we would forget to ask the question "What" he is!

because who would be too predictable, and kishi isnt predictable!


So what is tobi? - Tobi is the Jubi! "the ten tailed beast", i always come up with original idears, but unfortunately this idear is not mine, few have said it before me, but i laughed at it, i was mistaken, for even though its not my idear, i have analyzed all the events so far, and found many things that lead to the absolute certainty that tobi is the jubi in one form or another, perhaps his mind, or darkness, or soul, but id rather not specify it.



-the first and greatest evil to walk the narutoverse was Jubi, all chakra, kekkeigenkai, and hate came from him, even the sharingan and the rinnegan!

in every manga, its always the greatest evil that tend to be the final villian!

So6p wanted to bring peace to the world, but he failed, because in the end jubi still won!, so so6p's mission was incomplete and so was the victory over evil "in which case is jubi", so he divided the monster, and shared his own power with his sons, one of his sons inherited jubis hate, one of them so6ps goodness so from then on hate lived on, and so did goodness inside their descendants.

Reasons why tobi is jubi

-at the kage meeting, when tobi saved sasuke and declared the fourth world war - it was the first time we ever heard of jubi, why only then? and why tobi the only one to know, if kishi had not revealed to us the jubi right there and then things would not have made sense

tobi said the jubis chakra was divided into tailed beasts, and his body was sealed in the moon, but didnt say anything about his soul or mind, and then they asked tobi - what is your purpose in collecting the tailed beasts? - tobi replyed, "To be Complete" - we thought he was madara at the time therefore he wanted to fix his damaged body but no!, tobi said he is a Shell from his former self, and wants to be complete , get it? - by gathering all the tailed beasts, he will regain his chakra, and by using gedo mazo and rinnegan he will unseal his body on the moon!! - So im pretty sure we will not see a jinchuuriki tobi but the tentailed beast himself fighting in the end!!, loose upon the world, and the only one who can cast infinite tsukuyoumi is the jubi, only he has ten tomoes of sharingan with rinnegan, not so6p or a jinchuuriki!

tobi said im no one, i dont want to be anyone - thats kinda of a hint, i think behind that mask lies a complete Dark entity, and most likely the black zetsu is part of tobi aka "jubi", that explains why they are so close as if they are one, and he added hashiramas cells to create zetsu because hashirama means so6p, and i think white zetsu is the key to unsealing his body.

notice white zetsu has an eye shaped like a half moon, in acient mythologies thats a symbol for the key to the moon.


tobi is like a dark entity who can walk through space and dimensions, i dont think its the power of sharingan, its jubis power, and he can unmaterialize himself so people can walk through him like space or a dark vakuum, and he can walk through trees, black zetsu has the same exact ability!!

the least i would say, im almost sure tobi is jubi, even their name look alike.

If you think about it like how he said from kishis point of veiw this is probley the best prediction out. the series has to end soon so wouldn't it make sense to start adding the final plots and enemies?

Who said the Juubi is dead!?!?
As far as we know, Juubi is alive, but sealed.
Besides, the beasts are not like humans... When they die, they just come back to live again passed some time, even coz they're body is a mass of chakra. Chakra+Soul.

I think you're dead wrong. How can a mind of a living mass of chakra continue to live as a human? Beacuse the tailed beasts are the chakra from the ten-tails tobi can't possibly be a part of the chakra.

Maybe his body? My prediction is Tobi has the soul of the Sage within him and he is trying to reform himself. That's why he is helping Sasuke progress so much. Sasuke being the reincarnation of the older son who has the eyes and spiritual energies, and Naruto the younger son who has the body and physical energies. You combine them you have a body very similar to that of the Sage and the perfect host for the Juubi. But this is all speculation.

You could be right. Maybe the Sage did seal something important within the Kyuubi in the hope that if someone tried to reincarnate the Juubi the 9-Tails jinchuuriki could stop it.

i agree with your theory. i believe tobi is either some form or another of the juubi, or he is some form or another of so6p (corrupted or infected by juubi).

my ideas may be farfetched, but read them out.

madara (summoned by kabuto through muu) was aware of a technique known as "impure world resurrection". tobi, however, did not. he even asked kabuto to show him how its done. tobi has also never shown any elemental jutsu. from this, i can safely assume tobi is not madara.

tobi has mad amounts of chakra. he freely manipulates x tailed beasts without breaking a sweat.

before the 5 kages, madara shows a conceited, yet determined and arrogant glare. such a glare indicates madara is willing, although not necessarily capable, of battling 5 kages at once. now recall when tobi introduced himself to the kages; he was calm and diplomatic (or more tyrannic). one is more talkative; theother (madara) more combative. they do not have same personalities.

and in a recent chapter (too lazy to verify), tobi states "you have something that belongs to me", meaning the 8 and 9 tails.

Who is Tobi? I think I know

This is somethin I have been thinking off aside from the numerous theories about Tobi. Correct me if anything, I have been thinking about this.

Tobi at the kage summit, told about the ten tails and sage of the sixth paths story?
He said that only those with sharingan and rinnegan are able to read the stone tablet at wich the uchihas posesses.
A rinnegan bearer would be able to understand the whole tablet, about ten tails and sage og the six paths.
But a sharingan bearer would only understand some?
As Tobi currently wasn't a rinnegan bearer, how then is he able to know the whole story?
We saw edo Madara achieve the rinnegan, wich came as a big suprise, but he testified that it occured before his death against Hashirama.
So there would be no way he would have read the stone tablet, and informed Tobi about it.
Or maybe Tobi took Madaras rinnegan after he died and read the stone tablet, then took em off and put em on Nagato, sounds very unlikely to me.

The least we know this is all coming from Tobi, an untypical sharingan bearer, stockpilling sharingan eyes at his lab somewhere.
As he said at the kage sumit "I like to stockpile good eyes" refering to Sasuke, this gives me the impression that he is without respect to uchihas wich leds me to believe he isn't one either.
Also he has an active sharingan all time as Kakashi, wich further supports it.

At the fight against Konan I think, he states that he is the second sage of the six paths, and that Nagatos was the third, if this is to be true then it sounds to me as if Tobi has a long story, way back to Rikudos time.
The think is Tobi just knows too much about everything, he has shown that he is a mastermanipulator and without doubt the most ambitiouness, independent of time.
Even Minato took him very serious on hos words, he sacrified his life in thrust that his child was the child of proffecy, wich is destined to face of against Tobi.

This all has led me to believe, that Tobi is in fact one of the sons of sage of the six paths, none other than the younger son.

This all comes from the time Tobi spoke with Naruto where he told about the two brothers, and about the older brother getting mad because he wasn't chosen by Rikudo to led.
Tobi has stated that he is weak, that he lost his powers somehow?

This is what I think happened.
1.
The younger son was chosen to led by Rikudo, but the younger brother had evil intentions, he was a mastermanipulator that even fooled his father.
After the death of their father, the younger brother sought to reign under his definition of love wich was to control all people somehow.
This was the reason the older brother was mad that he was chosen, and he fought against him, and gave him severe damage so that he would lose most of his powers, and after that he himselft died, resulting in the younger getting obsessed with the powers of the uchihas.

2.
The older brother was rightfully chosen to led, resulting in the younger brother after Rikudos death, to want the led. This would assume Tobi lied when he told Naruto that the younger was chosen, but we all know Tobi lies.
So the younger son sought to fight as to achieve all power, and he was in the fight damaged so severe that he lost most of his powers, by the older before he died.
The younger brother was evil to begin with.

Tob himself told the story about the two brothers, he said the younger brother believed in love, and the older in strenght.
Tobi is talking about love here!
he believes his solution the moon eye plan is the final solution, his definition of peace.
Also we have only seen the senju perform time space jutsu "second hokage" as Tobi seem to master, the senju.

The reason he lives this long is because he was blessed with the power of rikudos body, a very long lifespan, and given he was the very first senju also.
And if you look at the picture, the younger brother has the same hair as Tobi
and also the eyes look much alike.

This is what I believe, what do you guys think?
