Starting my last mission with Sara Uchiha at this time: learn your clan history and prepare for the coming times (4)
it has been about a week since Sara had been living with the elderly lady. They had done and learned so much together. And although perhaps not blood, it felt like they were much more. However, there was more to the story to be told. The following day Sara woke up as usual and went to the kitchen to make the tea like she had done every other day after she had learned how to make it. But today was different. Grandmother was not drawing or painting on that paper like usual nor was she smiling. She looked quite serious. She did not speak or say a word, she simply let Sara make the tea like any other day at exactly 5 AM. Do usual had occurred, Sara had brought grandmother her tea, grandmother about her head and excepted it, and they drink the tea together after Sara sit down. They watched the sunrise, and then grandmother got to talking.
“Sara, dear.” The grandmother spoke softly. “You are that of Uchiha blood. And you were a bird with broken wings when I had found you. However I think it’s time for me to let you know the true history of myself and your ancestors.“ The grandma said quite seriously. Sara was shocked considering the old lady had never seemed to have wanted to open up to her before. Why now? Sara thought to herself. “I don’t know how you will react by the time I am done telling you all this, but I hope it strengthens you and prepares you to be better for the future. The times we are in are only getting worse and worse. And you will be no exception to the monstrosities out there.“ The grandma said seriously.
Sara could do nothing more other than listen. She has been so curious and so eager to hear the old lady’s history. And to hear her speak about what she knew of ninja and the ninja world. Funny thing is, Sara knew she had been hiding something simply because it was obvious that the lady was battle hardened. Although still in Academy students on paper, Sara had been around the block several times and this old lady was not just some defenseless old geezer.
The old lady had taken out several scrolls and pieces of paper that she had been writing and painting on for the duration that Sara has been visiting her and even ones since well before her and Sara had ever met. She unraveled a good bit of them and leave them out on the table for Sara to view, however, these looked like gibberish and made absolutely no sense whatsoever to Sara. Even with the little eyesight she had she knew that these words and paintings were incoherent scribble scratch. The grandmother commanded Sara “look into my eyes.“ And so, Sara did. The grandmother had closed her eyes for a few seconds and upon opening them revealed an eternal mangekyo sharingan. Sara was quite adept with her sharingan however she had only unlocked one tomoe, and on top of that has not used it in real life scenarios as much as she should. Regardless being that her sharingan wasn’t activated, she fell into an allusion put on by the grandmother. However the illusion had no ill intent. It had actually helped Sara read all of the drawings and paintings that the grandma put on the table. These looked like Uchiha manuscripts and hieroglyphs from the olden times. And of course, they all started with Madara Uchiha….
Sara started to vigorously and rigorously thumb through all of the scrolls and single pieces of paper while in the illusion soaking up every piece of information that she possibly could. She knew none of this or her ancestry. But today, she was finding out everything…
While Sara went through these important documents, the old lady thought it be best to tell Sarah of her true lineage. “Sara, I am a descendent of Naori Uchiha. And you are a descendent of the great Madara Uchiha. I have been searching for you for a long time, but I thought that perhaps you had met your end in these troubling times. But alas, fate has reunited us…”
Sara could not believe her ears. However she had thought that this was perhaps the case and that this old lady was a relative or a family friend of some sort. There was no mistaking an unspoken connection or bond you feel with someone upon meeting them. And she was not wrong about this. She understood that perhaps the reason that the old lady had a life this long to tell the tale was the cause of perhaps a forbidden medical ninjutsu of some sort.
“I knew you reminded me of Naori Uchiha…. You have a kind heart and clear mind…. Just like her….. I’ve heard the stories. How she put her own comrade in an eternal illusion based on his arrogance and pride.” Sara was not at all angry, if anything she was absolutely happy to have found her true family after the apparent near extinction of Uchiha after the second great Shinobi World War. Lest we forget, she read the book on one of the first days she landed in this house that taught her everything about that that she needed to know……
The grandma had gotten up and walked into the next room and then came back with a giant book. It was of course a book of the Uchiha clan filled with not only more rich history of the clan but forbidden techniques of the clan as well, thought to be lost within the hands of time.
“I will teach you how to put yourself in a trance, like the one that I had put you in so you will be able to read all of this on your departure.“ The grandma stated. “My life has been very fulfilling. But it was not fulfilled until I met you Sara.” The grandma stated both bitter and sweetly. “My days on this earth have been numbered since before I could remember. My time will soon come at the hands of who knows what. However I seek to live through you, Sara. And you do not have a choice to fail.“ the grandmother stated seriously and handed her the scroll that contained the trance jutsu to decipher all of the scrolls, papers and the book she had been given.
Sara had no words but understood everything the grandmother was saying she took everything in perfectly and coherently.
“The Uchiha are known for being vicious and vengeful. Spiteful beings we are. That is our nature. But my destiny, Sara, and your destiny, are to change that. Our destiny is to carry out the will of Naori Uchiha. That will be the only way this clan will grow and prosper to what it should have been a very long time ago. Lest we meet our long overdue demise…” The grandmother stated seriously.
“I understand…” Sara responded. “You should go now, Sara. There is much to be done.“ The grandma said to Sara while cracking a slight grin. “I think I’ll rest for a little while.” the grandmother said. However, she sounded ill and sickly, unlike Sara had ever heard her before. “But before you go…” the grandmother said….. “take these…” she said as she removed her eyes from their sockets ever so gently with the help of her infamous medical ninjutsu prowess. “You’ll be needing them on your path of redemption…” she said before seemingly passing away….. In turn, her true form had shown, and it was that of a mummy. She had lived long, long past her days. And although this saddened Sara, she would bring joy to the grandmother’s spirit by honoring her and her bloodline’s wishes and fulfilling her task of redeeming the Uchiha name for the greater good…
And with this, Sara departed to go on her final journey and spiritual conquest…..
