this is going sound ranty so just deal with it I know I shouldn't let things like this get to me but I just want to vent so don't read if you don't want

everyday it see people post something about the yata mirror being able to block everything and how it has "no physical form" it cant be touched everybody seems to have a warped idea of how the mirror work so I'm going to explain it and tell you how it can be beaten



the yata mirror has all five chakra types combined inside of it and when an attack hits it automatically responds with the best combination to negate it weather it be a psychical or spiritual chakra attack ....when an attack hits it disperses it....it doesn't make the attack nothing or make it disappear it just nullifies it... Susanoo is just condensed chakra the way around the mirror is not to attack it but to absorb the chakra that makes it up (Hashirama can absorb Chakra)

the mirror has special properties but if your just adsorbing it than your not making a direct attack against it and it can't be blocked because no matter what it does it's still made up of chakra (unless it magically turns into something other than chakra)

and for those people who take the databook entry about the mirror being magic or some shit you are stupid the databook isn't literal all the sharingan abilities are based off shinto gods and myths kishi is explaining the legend behind where the abilities come from the sealing sword and reflecting mirror both come from myhts and thats what he is talking about.... people that take the real myth used to explain it as the literal way the powers work in the manga are stupid people that need to do their research

yeah your right it's just like I don't even get on everyday but when I do it's always the same kinda of threads
1. something about itachi being the best in the verse somehow
2. debating naruto=sasuke power scheme
3. someone saying that a character that obviously has no chance against certain people can win in a fight

I just wish the threads were interesting and thought provoking and full of lively debates(and they were at one point) now all I see is hate and unoriginality but I do tend to let these kind of things get to me even though they shouldn't

I mean, on the very same page as yaata's databook description, we have the DB saying that the mangekyou sharingan are 'heavenly eyes that see all things in the universe'. Yet no one's going to argue that the MS allows one to see everything in the universe.

The people who bring up that stuff are usually itachi fans who are just trying to get away with as much as they can.

The difference is: The Databook and Manga give's Yata-no-Kagami the same level of support. The history of the shield is that it was designed to be the perfect defense against all attacks; it is not just a shield but a shield that can repel any attack. Again, I'll emphasize that this is supported by both the Manga and Databook and it has thus far completely repelled against any attack trying to breech it's defenses. Unless you can provide any canonical material discrediting the shields function then it essentially mean's you're just in denial. ​
