I actually got hope in KOOL G as well, as to me he is the only true GOD MC.... He dropping some fire this year too, just watch.... Kool G Rap never spit a wack rhyme in his entire career. Without Kool G rap, you would NEVER have: Nas, Eminem, Big Pun, Big L, Kendrick, Earl sweat, MF DOOM or any MC that spits that east coast multi syllabic flows, which if u know your hip hop history, is actually KOOL G's... and sorta rakim too... but Kool G is who perfected the shit.

I respect what you think, but at the same time, Kool G rap, is the favorite rapper of the favorite rappers of the current generation's favorite rappers.

In other words

Kool G Rap -> MF DOOM, Wu tang -> Earl sweatshirt, Joey Badass

Kool G rap -> Nas + Eminem -> Kendrick, J cole

And might even be transcendent of all time and be the favorite rapper of those who came before him. That's some god shit if u ask me.

Was that second video supposed to be proof? He named like 20 rappers, and that's supposed to special towards Kool G? I'm not disagreeing or agreeing with you, I'm just saying, that second video was pretty irrelevant to the rest of your post.

Just listen to that emphasis when he says "KOOL G RAP"

Lol jp

To understand you really just to have to have listened to all the other mc's he listed, and also listened to his own stuff (eminem)..
Kool G rap stands apart from all the other guys he listed, with exception to Nas, biggie, and Tupac. All the other rappers he listed do not flow with the multi syllabic trademark that is Kool G's, and they actually pre date Kool G's era for the most part. KRS ONE and rakim come from the same time but they do not have that crazy repetitious inner slants, assonance, and internals in their flow and rhyme like Kool G does... Masta Ace is the only other Mc he listed that was part of KOol G's actual generation, and he was actually in Kool G's circle of MC's known as the Juice crew. But Kool G was the heavy hitter in the juice crew and Masta Ace over time developed a dope style of his own, but for the time that they were relevant Kool G was head honcho. Also as far as the exception of BIggie, pac, and nas, They all came after Kool G rap. Kool G was really the main source of the east coast multi syllabic flow coming into the game, and we all know what Eminem's flow sounds like. That is not to say that the other guys are insignificant influences to eminem, but just to show how strong of an influence Kool G was to rap and also to all the respective rappers. You just gotta listen to all the other stuff I Guess.

Yeah, but that video doesn't really support your ¨Kool G is a god MC" thing. All it says is Eminem was influenced by Kool G, and the same could be said for every other rapper he mentioned. It says ¨Kool G influenced me to have multisyllable rhymes and internals¨, not ¨Kool G is the gotdamn best and greatest.¨ I'm not saying Kool G didn't do all of that stuff, but that video isn't proof of that. At all.
