As the rapper known on the base as "the professor" and y'all who know that name know what's up.. I'm proud of EVERYONE on this thread for their ability to defend/ debate who the greatest are. Many names have been mentioned.. Although Q-Tip/tribe called quest, mos def, the roots ect been left off, y'all ain't as old as me and have definitely missed some of the greatest rappers, most notably Pharoahe Monch from old school and Tech N9ne from this generation.

I'm just glad to see this debate going on, I love seeing everyone's point of view, especially those backed up with specific songs and good arguments. There's a lot to say about ANY rapper.. All I can say is I'm glad Lil Wayne hasn't been on ANYONE's list as greatest LOL!!
