So the itachi argument as follows:
Minato will be in genjutsu as soon as the fight starts no need to argue more.

Minato argument:
Given his sensing abilities he has ways to avoid, realize and break genjutsu.

Itachi counter argument:
It doesn't matter once he's under its over.

Bogard I m sry But could you repost Your Genjutsu counter agian I m too lazy too go search it up I would like to debate

To make it simple

1- Sensors can predict occular attacks

2- Sensors can fight even under genjutsu(albeit harder)

3- SM users sensing is no different than fighting with your eyes open, so for them however blindness is no handicap

4- With toads as partners, every genjutsu besides tsukuyomi is useless

5- Minato can switch with clones. Genjutsu doesn't work on clones

Perfect sage mode users have the ability to sense like that.
There's nothing wrong with giving him sm naruto's sensing feats since naruto can only sense like that due to sm.


On top of that he's a innate sensor and already has feats of him sensing long distances, and chakra specifics, without sm.

Don't even give me that, all through this thread people have been trying to say Minato sensing abilities are like Tobirama's and Karin's. And even with that it still doesn't back up the statement that Minato can fight good with his eyes closed.​

He can sense while fighting what are you talking about? Kurama explicitely mentioned the fact they failed to notice due to distraction, which means he does sense while fighting. I also presented the SM argument which is total different than his normal sensing level

I don't get how is sensing abilities are better than someone with there eyes open. What feats have Minato shown to suggest that, the problem you have is giving Minato other peoples feats.​

lol, are we really doing this? The feats people "give" him, are feats that come with Sage Mode. Its that simple. Is there anything different about Minato that prevents him from having Sensing that comes specifically from mastering Sage Mode?

-Him and Naruto have the same Sage Mode from the same exact place from the same exact teacher.

-Naruto already stated its Sage Mode alone that let him sense.

I am literally not seeing the issue here.

Why would Naruto fight with his eyes closed when he doesn't need to? I don't know about you, but I'd rather fight with my eyes open if I had the option, cause Sage Sensing plus sight is better than one or the other alone.

His Rasengan disappeared the moment he activated his sensing mode. Not to mention Karin when fighting could tell something happened to Sasuke, while Minato fighting Black Zetsu didn't what was happening, until Kurama told him. No normal sensing and SM sensing are practically the same. Difference is, normal sensor's skills would be godlike, and prime example of this is Muu who can dodge and fight while looking behind. Unless there is scan of Minato displaying Naruto's feats, we're not going to hand them to him. Just like how people always said Madara cant use Rinnegan techniques, despite he gave them to someone who can use them proficiently. NB is full of hypocrites. Not trying to insult you though.

I'm not referring to that, go back and you see they're saying that Minato could do shit that Tobirama and Karin was. At one point he compares what SM Madara to Minato. I understand saying he has the same feats as Naruto but the rest no.​

Oh, I see. Tobirama and Karin I agree with, Madara though; it depends on what extent they were referring to.

-If its just the capability to fight without sight then I agree.

-If its everything about his display, then I disagree.
