Great thread, looks like you busted your ass making it. This may be my meager understanding of the SO6P talking, but didn't he have those weird eyes before hand? And since his children ended up with those eyes, wouldn't it be safe to say he had them all along? I think his children were born before he took on the ten tails. My opinion doesn't matter really, I just wanted to give it since I can.

point is the S06P developed a ninjutsu

which leads us to believe he could have developed more ninjutsu's (that is why it is said the S06P created all ninjutsu)

sorry i have to disagree, it hasn't been stated anywhere that uzumakis cannot use ninjutsu. if you're saying that then they must have been related to Might Guy and Rock Lee. what i agree on though is that Uzumakis were an earlier descendant then those of Senju and Uchiha.

i did read the whole thing and give you props for that but my opinion still stands that SO6P did have the rinnegan before he fought, that he wasn't Uzumaki. but i've been mistaken plenty of times.

Alright well this is my first "fancy" thread i guess, well here goes.

okay First of all, here is the foundation of why i believe So6P is NOT an uzumaki.

Okay well first of all lets go with that we know

Sage of Six paths had 2 sons, (who was the mother we do not know, nor is it relevant at the moment)

okay alright we all know the sage had 2 sons, the elder son inherited the eyes, while the younger inherited his body and life force, and we also know (or so we assume) that the elder son was the ancestor of the uchiha while the younger son was the ancestor of the senju.

And by this Basis we can easily say, THE SAGE OF SIX PATHS IS THE ANCESTOR OF BOTH UCHIHA AND SENJU, right? no? okay heres manga proof

Next, you may be asking okay, well what does senju and uchiha have to do with anything, if i'm supposed to be proving So6P is NOT an uzumaki. Here's your answer.

I know there are some hard-headed individuals out there, so ill spell it out very simple.

First
Nagato is an uzumaki

So from that we know senju and uzumaki are related, since nagato is uzumaki and nagato is from senju lineage. Make sense right?...no? Fine MOAR proof.

So that means Sage of 6 Paths is the ancestor of the Uzumaki clan.

So this ALL means that the sage absolutely cannot be an uzumaki if he is the ancestor of uzumaki, senju, and uchiha, possible even more clans, or even all of em.(that much we don't know just yet)

In which case a simple diagram should explain this even easier than i have.

Get it now? saying that Sage of six paths is a so called "pure uzumaki" makes absolutely no sense, its like trying to say that cavemen are americans, or french or whatever because they look alike. even though they didnt even exist in the same generations. Maybe just MAYBE, the abilities of the uzumaki clan are similar to the sage of six paths is because they are very distant descendants of him? Just like maybe americans or french or whatever look like cavemen because cavemen are our ancestors?

This is naruto. Someone can get half their body crushed by a boulder and survive while another person electrocutes himself to move faster and another person shoots fireballs out of his eyeballs. There is no logic.
