they could be related through the sage being an uzumaki and being the ancestor for the senju and uchiha, so in other words uzumaki could be the base family, also no one has stated that the uchiha are not related to the uzumaki so it is possible

But why can't the Uzumaki clan be older than the senju and Uchiha clan? That is a possibility in my opinion. As far as anyone can be concerned, the Uzumaki clan can be one of the oldest clans. Perhaps the wife of the Sage was an Uzumaki as well. That being said, their sons would be powerful. The proof that the one guy provided and my logic makes me believe that. But hell, I could be wrong.

I see what ur trying to get at, but I don't see it possible. Uzumaki was born under Senjuu, and they where born under So6p.

So that just wouldint add up...
