I'm trying to understand wat u mean by 'recoil'. Like, it's big enough to make it go bakwards? Like a wall? First off, I'd make a wall 'cause it's less complicated, and second, it would fall bakwards onto itself with much less power, like a wave hitting the base of a cliff. Or is it something else?

i was close enough. it's like a wave hitting the base of a cliff and falling back upon itself. the gravity's reversed, ect. but back to wat would happen to my opponent...
it'll smack him into the dome, the wave will go upwards (because it'll want to keep going forwards, but can't, so it goes upwards in a circular motion to go backwards, and down) and crash back down upon my opponent. or, it might carry him with it and smash him into the ground. either way, he's injured and vunurable to a quick strike.

this almost seems familiar too... or maybe im just going crazy. *slams my hands into the ground, letting my doton chakra flow through it, and when it reaches your clone, i spin it 'round and 'round, pulling the earth with it, sinking him into an earthen whirlpool*

Not exactly. There are many uses to this jutsu with water or not.
Actually, on second thought. -.-' This is a repeat of a C-Rank jutsu, so let's skip it.
For this next one, please send your chakra into the ground and then start "rolling" it, almost like a snowball to become a huge earth-shaped sphere.
Then, proceed to lift that sphere with your inhuman strength, hurling it at my clone as you do so.

i have inhuman strength!?!?!? kool, that's going in my next bio. *i send my doton chakra into the earth, rolling it around to create a 'snowball' of earth. then i walk up to it, lift it with my inhuman strength, and throw it like a shotput(?) at your clone.*

Now, say that this was rolling down a cliff. In what ways could you take advantage of it?

is rolling towards me, or away from me? if it's going towards my enemy, i'd have it gather earth as it rolled, much like a snowball.

Yes, very good. But how can you take advantage of friction and gravity in this case?

ummm... manipulate the earth to make the gravity more and frictions so it hit's him harder?

 

[Adachi]

Well, when it rolls down the cliff, doesn't it collect debris with it, growing bigger, and also creating destruction on its path when it does so?
I'll let you think about it how you can use that well during a battle.

did the third use this? or something like it? *i build up the doton chakra in me and bring it up to my mouth. then i soften it with my saliva and spit it out in the form of mud. as the mud come out of my mouth, i make it stack up in front of me, making a giant wall, and making it dry to be a good defence.* PPP! blah! that's disgusting; gotta wash my mouth out with soap, brb.

And according to what you know, which elements do you believe this is capable of blocking?

*gargles and spits the soap* better. does your question have to do with when the third used it, 'cause all i no is he used it. but, it should block the water element (any others) and be weak to lightning.

Hmm, relating to the plateau jutsu earlier, which more physical aspects of battles might it block against?

hmmm... mud+fire=earth, so would fire make it stronger? and it would protect against weapons? and because i can't think of a place for it, would it block wind?
