let's try this... *I walk up to a rock next to me, and place my hand on it. i focus my doton chakra through the rock, trying to get a clear, undistrupted flow through myself and the rock. then, i take a step into the rock, and nearly freak out due to the unnaturalistic feeling to it. i calm down, and take another step into the rock, completely submerging myself within the rock*

Now, this is a very useful jutsu mainly because of one reason alone.

..... can't hear; rocks in my ears! one sec. *i stick my head out of the rock, and listen to your question again.* ummm.... it lets me travel through rocks, simmilar to Zetsu's Mayfly technique, and give's me as great a defence as the rock i travel through?

if you were disguised? this jutsu would... i don't know! this jutsu allows me to escape other jutsu and disguise myself, but i don't know how it would be affect by u disguising urself

You would become part of the rock, or you can completely disappear into it, like how Yamato becomes one with Wood. Then, couldn't you launch a surprise attack if someone passes you?

yeah, i could. but what does that have 2 do with ur disguise? it wouldn't let me tell the difference between the person ur disguised as and you

No, no, you go into the rock, become part of it and that's that, disguising you as part of the rock. Where are you confused at?

i got confused when you said 'What if... I were disguised'. but, you were talking about me being disguised. it's alright now, i get it.

okay. *slams my hand into the earth and forces my chakra through it. i use 'somewhat-earth sensing abilities' to eamine the dome in a structural perspective. i sense around the dome and find it's weakpoint. then, i begin to reconstruct the dome by sending the earth around the weakpoint to spread out, even more weakening the weakpoint, until the dome completely collapses in on itself.*

What if I wanted a hamberger? Sigh. No Berger for me ): *I open the scroll and begin to draw (with what?). I draw a stone pillar so I get the porportions of my drawing to real life. Then a draw a Greek temple, which gives me an idea. I draw on the scroll the impossible staircase and run around that a few times*. How do I get down? *I draw a large statue of a dragon eating my worst enemy, and several guards holding swords to Justin Biener's throat! Then a draw a plane off of where the cliff was, extending the land out that way. Then all of my statues, the temple, and even the staircase collapse because I couldn't draw them well enough to survive in the real world (I'm a bad artist)*. Looks like I need art lessons.

Anyhow, excellent. I see you get the general idea of this jutsu.
So, how exactly can you use this jutsu to your advantage during a battle? Be creative, and in a moment, I'll tell you several good ways to do so.

I can use this jutsu to create a more pleasing battlefield if I don't like the terrain. I can also use it to create booby traps so I can trick my enemies and trap them where I can finish them off.
