Tell me how you think Earth Chakra flows.

*i send my chakra through the rock next to me, getting a feel for the element.* ok. i think that earth chakra doesn't flow smootly, like most, if not all, of the other elements. seeing different earth jutsu used in the anime/manga, i'd say that it flows bits at a time, instead of a steady stream. with fire, or water, or wind jutsu, it'll flow in a steady stream, but an earth style jutsu will either errupt out of the ground at regular intervals or just in one spot. another way of saying this would be to say that earth style chakra is like a bad download, it only goes a little bit at a time, instead of steadily

Excellent description. Yes, the Earth Element requires some concentration on the forming and molding of the element.
It doesn't flow easily, and tends to act more like clay.

Now, do you know which element Earth combos easily with?
Also, what is it weak and strong to?

earth is strong against water and weak to lightning. for what it combo's with... idk. fire?

Nope, water. It actually works well with it as you'll see soon.
Let's begin then.
Place your hand upon that same rock and begin to "mold" it to create any offensive tool for me.

k. *i place my hand on the rock, and force my chakra into it, keeping a clear picture of the tool in my head. my chakra 'chips away' anything that isn't the tool in my head. i clasp my hand around the object and reveal it to you* it's a miniature kusarigama.

Proceed to now create any defensive tool for me using the exact same concept and rock.

Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

Now, please keep in mind that this jutsu can be used in many different ways. It's very creative and very useful. Just like Mokuton no Jutsu.
Alright, now let's dive fully into the Earth Element. For this next jutsu, I want you to send your Earth chakra within yourself and then become one with the Earth by sinking fully into it. Once you have, I will then place my clone on the place where you were originally. Then stick your hands out of the Earth, grab my clone around his legs, and then pull him deep into the Earth while pulling yourself out at the exact moment.

alright. *focuses the earth chakra within me towards my feet, and upwards as my earth chakra enfused body sinks into the earth. when i'm fully submerged, i wait for a little while, then grabs the ankles of the clone above me. i pull myself up by pulling him down and i sweep around with a kunai, stopping at the clones throat.* how's that?

Very good. However, remember you cannot move while using this jutsu so it works more like a trap.
But, how would you know when my clone was above you?

i was one with the earth and i could sense it's wieght above where i was.(?)

(Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) - Earth Style: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

Description: The user, emerging from the ground below the target area, pulls down the opponent so that only their head is above ground. Unable to move, the opponent can easily be decapitated or tortured.

Let us move on. Using the same concept you used to create your "Kusarigama", I want you now to create a staff out of this small rock here -hands you rock- Remember to channel your chakra through it and "mold" like clay.
After you create that staff, proceed to through it at my wooden target dummy here. -makes wooden clone-

alright. *takes the rock and focuses on the image of a staff. pieces of rock breaks off of the staff until it looks like a staff. the pieces then come together to create a longer staff, and my chakra fuses it all together as if it were never anything else. then i take aim and throw the staff with a little propulsion from my chakra towards your wooden clone.*

Yes, very good. How do you think distance affects this jutsu?
How do you think you would use it in a battle - in other words, what's the main purpose of such a jutsu?

the farther the distance for this jutsu, the harder it would be to use because of the distance the staff would have to cover. how would i use it in a battle? i would probably use it as a short range weapon, keeping it in my hands and using it as a bo staff. either that or throw it from a short distance so there's still some power behind it by the time it hits my target

Yes, very good. Creating several of these could be helpful as they would become a sort of "weapon arsenal" for you. Distance does affect accuracy and power, and so does timing.

(Doton: Gansetsukon) - Earth Release: Rock Staff

Description: This jutsu allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this jutsu allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

Now let us move on. We'll be going into C-Ranks now.
Once again, we'll be dealing with the technique of releasing your chakra into the ground. -creates a shadow clone-
For this jutsu, I would you like to send your Earth chakra into the ground and then focus on lifting sections of the Earth to move them around my clone.
Think of my clone as the hot dog and your rocks as the bun. Once you think you have stable control of the Earths you have gathered, smash my clone together.

let try this. *places my palms on the ground and focuses chakra downwards. using my chakra, i 'carve out' two stone slabs. i rise to my full height, making exaggerated hand movements. as i do so, the two stone slabs rise with me. then i move my hands towards your clone, the stone slabs following suite, stopping on either side of it.* this hotdog's missing something. *i slam my hands together, causing the stones to crush the clone.* Ketchup.
