If your opponent used a water technique that creates a water source then I believe you can blend in it only after your opponent stops fueling said water technique with chakra. Basically when it become water with no chakra.Hiding in a large pond, Neji begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra and proceeds to mold said chakra inside of his body and uses nature manipulation to create damp Suiton. When Neji is finished building up his water chakra, he channels it into the water source. As this happens, he is able to blend in and hide his presence from enemy ninja.
Advantages: Requires no hand seals; able to hide my presence effectively; very useful in an oceany terrain
Disadvantages: There must be a water source close by; useless against sensory/dojutsu bios; Probably would be ineffective if your opponent created the water source; only lasts a short period of time
Yes you can perform other technique as long as you're no longer spewing the water. That is because you cannot alter the wave's direction, you simply make it have a specific trajectory when you spew the water to form the wave.Neji begins to concentrate as he is mustering up his chakra, while weaving the snake hand seal. As he is doing this, he builds up us a pretty sufficient amount of his chakra and proceeds to mold said chakra inside of his body and uses nature manipulation to create damp Suiton. When Neji is finished building up his water chakra, he looks down towards the ground and spits out a large volume of water. When this happens, the gushing water pushes Neji upwards. After it would rise, the water cascades into a large wave that he proceeds to ride at high speeds.
Advantages: Only requires one hand seal; can span up to long range; effective counter to that earth swap tech; can create my own water source; can potentially crush the target as it cascades
Disadvantages: Opponent can electrocute me while I'm resting on the wave; I'm vulnerable as I rise upwards

The technique causes no thunderstorms, though the storm clouds would probably remain for some time once you stop the technique. When Neji is finished building up his water chakra, he relaeses it into the atmosphere; which creates a large thundercloud and this rain. As the rain pours, Neji uses shape manipulation to transform the rain into a large wave of water that rushes towards the target and sweeps them off their feet. While submerged in said wave, the water wraps around and immobilizes them effectively; and their chakra would be drained as well.
Advantage: Requires only one hand seal; can drain the taget's chakra; can reach up to long range; immobilizes the target
Disadvantage: Must continuously keep the dog hand seal in place; doesn't last forever; kind of usless to use if you're alone

Description: The user jumps into the air and then stabs his sword intothe ground, where he causes water to burst up around him and creating a pillar of water to rise up in the air repelling the enemy.
Nice technique for ninjas who're into kenjutsu. If an opponent or incoming attack approaches you, you can jump into the air then as you descend, stab your sword into the ground. Whilst doing this, you release chakra from within yourself to then erupt around your in the form of a pillar. This shields you against certain attacks and can also repel/push back your opponent if they're within short range, delivering some damage to them aswell.

Description: Using their skills with water release, the user creates an orb of water in their hand which they can then release in the form of multiple spearing streams, that they can use to attack their enemy from multiple directions or in spirals.
You create a water orb in you hand and further manipulate it to release multiple spearing streams each having an arching trajectory to attack your opponent from multiple directions. This is a nice technique to use if you want to force your opponent into becoming preoccupied with attacks that come from anywhere other than their frontal side instead of directly attacking you. Well, you're free to direct those spearing streams in whichever arching manner you want.

Description: The user creates crescent shaped blades of water, which follow the arcs of their hand movements attacking opponents infront of them or they can twirl around while generating the crescent blades to attack all around them.
You use water chakra which you've gathered within yourself, concentrating it onto one of your hands and then move your hand in a slashing motion. This creates crescent shaped blades of water that extends up to mid range distance. You can also rotate your entire body as you're doing the slashing motion in order to attack from all sides.
