Strongest Hokage is the 3rd, Hiruzen Sarutobi

I'm gonna make a point for this VS threads:
the beauty in the strongest chracters is that fame narrates them not facts from manga so we can make up our minds on it and choose who we think is the best
ever thought that even Kishi doesnt quite know who would be the best!

ye its fun to argue for your chosen characters sake but there should be a limit, once ppl get aggressive its just stupid

I chose Minato, my friend chose Hiruzen, some other guy will chose Hashirama

the point is don't get aggressive on such matters just enjoy the argument XD

+ the Manga contradicts itself at times so even many facts from the Manga arent all that valid

I think Hiruzen Sarutobi is the strongest Kage aswell. I mean come on, we've never seen him in a real battle when he was indeed in his prime... I hope Masashi Kishimoto will make like a special of him. That would be beast

it was stated that the 4th was the greatest shinobi ever produced by the leaf, so minato is better then saratobi, how he compares to the 1st and 2nd idk cause they weren't produced by the leaf, they founded it

People who are saying Hiruzen was the strongest. Where exactly was his peak? If you remember the 2nd hokage sacrifice himself to save both him and danzo along with the rest of the team. So peak i guess mean late 30's early 40s he died in his 60s so...you pick an age. In both anime and manga some characters hinted that all of the hokages were strongest at some point so come on. If we basing off fights then 1st is the strongest. If we basing it off wiki or w/e you get your info from then 3rd is strongest. But either way 1st>madara=4th>3rd>2nd. Only putting 2nd last becuase 3rd had combinations.

i think its hashirama but we don't know much about either really, we didnt see either of the hokage fight when they were young so it could go either way

isnt it odd u say that while riding 3rd's magic stick....
jiraiya had 3rd as a sensei and 4th as a student and he said 4th was "unrivaled" maybe u should spend less time riding and more time investing in a dictionary
as for 1st...cant reali say since jiraiya too only would have heard stories of him

It's obvious minato is im not a fan boy he isn't one of my favs but even with out solid proof anyone could pick up on minato being the best other ninja were told to flee on sight he could kill a shit load of guys in the blink of an eye and the main character always talked about striving to surpass the 4th if the 3rd was indeed the strongest naruto would be claiming he is going to surpass him but he doesn't i prefer hiruzen but he simply isn't the strongest

i jus recentli watched the episode on anime where kabuto made that comment..from what he said he was suggesting 3rd wasn't the strongest of the hokages..what he was saying was the hokage is usually the strongest amongst the other kages and oro defeated him (it jus happens to be 3rd)...he was jus saying itt o make oro feelbetter about losin hir arms

Jiraiya knew about all hokages capabilities...so no the 3rd wasn't the strongest kage it was 4th

agree with this.

how can the 4th be weaker than the 3rd? minato was able to deafeat whole armies of ninja on his own, he could even rival pain.
all hokages have stronger capabilities than the last, the first hokages defensive abilities were amazing, but not that powerful in battle, seeing as he died. then the 2nd hokage, he was able to wield his blade of the thunder spirit, and he even took down the kinkaku force and the kingin brothers when he died. the 3rd hokage, well he was crowned hokage quite young, and with the sannins help he smahsed up enemie ninja villagers with his adamantine staff, they say he was unstoppable.

and the 4th, goddamn, he was undefeated in his lifetime, he wasnt the strongest ninja ever but he was the strongest kage ever. he could defeat whole armies by himself.

and tsunade, even jiraiya said because of her konoha won the 2nd shinobi war, she healed konoha endlessly, it must have been like fighting an army that constantly heals. so in healing and protecting the village, and orochimaru said she cant be killed in battle. i think if the kyuubii attacked her instead of minato she would have survived. every hokage is stronger than the last, just because sarutobi was the strongest of his time do you think he can measure up to naruto sage mode or even naruto kyuubi mode? but tsunade just stood there when naruto and bee were fighting A like it was nothing.

just proves how pwnage the next generation is comapred to the previous.

You can't say that the fourth cudn't Madara, he wasn't trying to all he wanted was to stop Madara's control of the kyuubi he did the he left to try and save the village

The fourth was the strongest alve its said in first episode of naruto. .and madara withdrew from fighting with the 4th because his speed was so great that madara couldnt even guess what the 4th was upto. . . and if that fight was to contine madara would be over by now
