Re: Storage thread (Will delete soon)(Not deleted yet? How long is soon?)
A seal which automatically activates in response to something or someone moving fast the user can track. A barrier is erected up to mid-range that decreases the movement speed of things to the base speed of the user.
A seal which seals away the ability to use techniques with chakra over a certain threshold. 50 chakra?
A two-fold seal. Seals away mental damage rather than physical damage and blocks the memories of having ever sustained that damage.
[Berserker vs Berserker] Knight of the Lake vs Son of the Gods
Waking Nightmares: Beware the Scarecrow (vs. Dean)
The user will place a seal with the Kanji for “Rebirth” on a solid technique of any kind. The seal will make a given technique that usually lasts for a limited amount of time (e.g. the Great Stone Golem which goes lifeless after you stop fuelling it) last indefinitely or rather until it’s destroyed. This seal can be applied to any solid element or technique as long as physical contact is made.
Note: Can be used thrice per battle
Note: Works on any solid element or technique
Note: Only one seal can be applied per technique
If the technique is struck with an attack incapable or insufficient in destroying it, the seal will flush the technique with chakra and replenish it to its original strength but this can only happen up to three times per seal.

The will focus their Kōton chakra into any structures of steel outside their body to unleash a violent outburst of steel wires from any, several every point(s) on those objects/tools/constructs. The wires aren't projectiles and rather extend from the original structure or technique. If this is used on steel devoid of chakra, it will take on the rank of this technique. If this is used on a technique, it will either take on the strength of the existing jutsu or retain it's own rank (whichever is greater). The length of the wires will depend on the original scale of the technique and they can be used in a similar manner to Steel Release: Lances of Lamorak.
Bladed weapons coming out of limbs (could be as simple as spikes, swords or more complex like tridents)
Metallic strings extend from existing steel structures. They can be used in a similar manner to Lances of Lamorak, allowing steel techniques to change their height or direction mid-flight.
The user will utilize their koton chakra to activate an ability designed to augment their steel techniques. Any and every steel technique they use for the next four turns will be coated in an additional layer of steel scales upon creation (be it from the user’s body or from the ground). Even techniques which seek to harden or transform the body will be coated in this armour of scales. Offensive techniques this is used upon will gain one rank and in the case of S-Ranks and above they will gain +20 damage. In the case of defensive and supplementary techniques, they will become capable of defending against techniques with 20 more damage points (only applies to S-Ranks and above).
[Katon: Kyoukan no Kama] - Fire Release: Ferocity of the Furnace
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: N/A
Chakra: 20 (-10 chakra for every turn this is active)
Damage: N/A
Description: The user activates an ability that will serve to strengthen their steel release techniques for the next three turns. This technique is essentially based on the idea of “tempering”, using high levels of heat to strengthen a metal beyond it’s normal limits. The infused katon chakra will serve to raise the temperature of any and all steel techniques utilized by the user for two distinct purposes. The first and foremost use is to increase it’s toughness to extent supplementary and/or defensive techniques can defend against 20 more damage points than normal. The second use is to increase the damage dealt by offensive techniques as they become capable of eliciting severe burns on sufficient contact (+20 damage). Aesthetically, this technique darkens the user’s steel to a pitch black colour with localized areas of orange-red light (signifying the heat of the metal). Steam will also rise off of the body of any techniques this ability is applied to, providing yet another tell that the technique has been enhanced beyond it’s natural limits. Activating this ability does not require any time whatsoever and is instant. This is because it does not do anything when used independently, and its effects are only realized when steel-based techniques are used.
Note: Lasts for three turns
Note: Can only be used twice per battle

(Koton: Kasei no Percival) – Steel Release: Growth of Gaheris
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Before performing their next koton technique that emerges from the body, the user activates an instant ability and infuses additional chakra into it. The technique will be created seemingly as normal but in reality it will be constituted of thousands upon thousands of extra fine wires. This difference to normal steel jutsu will be imperceptible to the naked eye, at least until the technique is struck by an attack insufficient in destroying it. Any damage dealt to the technique will be rapidly undone (within the same turn) as the wires rearrange and sew back together as necessary to undo the damage done. This regeneration can happen as many times as necessary (until the technique is destroyed by an attack with equal or greater power) but every time it does this chakra equal to the original rank of the technique will be sapped from the user e.g. 40 chakra to restore an S-Rank. The purpose of this chakra is to restore any wires that were destroyed in the clash and return the technique to full power. This makes this technique a very double-edged sword as relying on continuous regeneration of the said technique will rapidly deplete the user’s chakra reserves. Due to the nature of this technique requiring the jutsu to remain in contact with the user, it’s use is largely limited to armours, weapons and tools kept on the user’s person. Regeneration counts as a move but it doesn't need to be initiated and the user is free to perform other techniques while it occurs.
Note: Can only be used thrice per battle
Note: Can only be applied to one technique per use
Note: Cannot be used on Forbidden Ranks
