This one is quite simple, although it is B rank. By charging Sound based chakra into the palms of your hands and smashing them together, you are capable of creating high frequency Sound waves that destroys a solid based attack. This can be either Water or Earth, at B rank or below. This technique has no drawback, except for the rank restriction, as to what rank it can destroy. This means, many Earth and Water based techniques can be taken down with a simple "clap". This is also the first Destructive type Sound technique that I am learning. I am guessing the technique works by causing said solid technique to vibrate so violently through the use of high frequency Sound waves, that it simply breaks into pieces. It also has a limit on it's range, being only Short range, limits its use. This means it can only be used if you are really in a jiffy, and some large walls of Earth surround you or so, then without hand seals, you could just burst out of there.

I'd say it's a quite useful technique, and extremely simple too. I love it.

Description: The user gathers chakra either around their fist, arm, or leg and then charges towards their opponent. Upon utilizing an attack involving the aforementioned limb, it causes a release of sonic vibrations (of a low frequency but with a high amplitude) that act as a secondary strike, making the opponent unable to use the body part that has been hit for 1 turn. This happens because the sound vibrations damage soft tissue by resonating within the water molecules that reside within it. The effect is similar to a localized explosion upon contact that rips through the targeted area and creates a shockwave that blasts the target backwards. The skill is exceptionally useful if used against solid techniques such as those from Earth Release (or similar) which will shatter upon being hit.

This pretty much enhancing your taijutsu with sound chakra. Hitting your opponents limb, will cause them to not use it for a turn. This technique can also can be used against solid techniques.

Some of these techniques are simply just powerful. I like this one too, because I have been trying to become more dangerous in close range. Anyway, the technique combines Sound and Taijutsu, by focusing your Sound chakra to a specific limb that is going to be used for attacking the opponent. This causes a release of sonic vibrations, as you hit the opponent, which ripples through the limb that is struck. This damages the soft tissue, rendering said limb useless for one turn. This is great if you are fighting a true Taijutsu fight, and one arm can't be used, imagine the possibilities. And like most destructive Sound techniques, this one is capable of shattering Earth based techniques. A nice technique, and a bit powerful for my liking, as I wouldn't want someone to use this against me.

What if I were to hit the opponent on the chest with this technique? What would actually happen? Would he just be hit back?

Description: The user gathers his sound chakra into his throat as he inhales afterwards exhaling as he screams, yells or roars. The resulting effect is a massive forward shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude sound that levels anything in its path. Despite weakening as it travels, its faster than most wind or lightning techniques and can still be defended from. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.

Any form of loud noise that you can produce with your voice, will do. Releases a shockwave of sound. It gets weaker the further it travels. Extra damage if used in water.

Only to exhale and release a destructive shock wave of low frequency, high amplitude at your opponent as you scream or yell. This shock wave, due to the vibrations and frequency at hand, causes Earth to be shattered as it travels along. Not only does this make the technique extremely useful, but it is also very easy to perform. No hand seals needed, and it doesn't obscure your vision. An overall solid technique, and nice one to use in close combat. When used in a water source, it gains 20+ damage, making it even more deadly. This means it can be a good follow up jutsu to a rather bland water bullet or so. This techique reminds me of Banshee in X-Men: First Class.

The speed of this technique gives it incredible piercing power. The sound waves and water continue to spread out further as it travels, a small vortex with a 3 meter diameter.
Note: Can only be used 3x per battle
Note: This technique can also be used to deflect an A Ranked or lower Water technique back at the opponent as a sound/water combination without the user being submerged in water.
Note: No Sound or Water techniques in the same turn.

Description: The user charges Ototon chakra into his hands and snaps his fingers, triggering a genjutsu through the emission of high frequency sound waves. As he snaps, the sound is amplified, sounding as if it is directly by the enemy's ear. To them, it sounds as if something has just snapped in half. The user then manipulates the illusion to make it appear as if either a large branch has fallen from a tree or the ground under them has broken clean in half, causing the target to believe they are falling through the earth or have been struck with a large object, pushing them to the earth. The user has control over the illusion, being able to make it seem as if entire trees have been snapped in half, falling on the target or as if an earth structure has collapsed either above or beneath the opponent, etc. The illusion can be edited to fit the situation and even the sound can be slightly altered deepening on the object that is "snapped". Is more effective depending upon the terrain this is used in ( extremely effective in a forest, not effective in a desert ).

Now one of the few sound gens, you snap your fingers together. Which produce sound waves that will go directly into your targets ear. The gen will make them think something above or below them has snapped in half, causing panic. Above, a large tree branch or below the earth has broken clean under them, can be one of these two options, depending on how your explain it. Obviously this technique is only good depending on your terrain.

Finally, a Genjutsu technique. Now what I love about this, is that it allows for some freedom of creativity, although a bit restricted by the terrain you are on. So through charging your Sound based chakra into your hands, you will perform a simple "snap" with your fingers. As Sound Genjutsu are instant, this makes it even more difficult to notice. Once the Genjutsu has been induced, one can make the opponent believe the Earth is breaking apart or that something is falling from above. As the technique says, it can be slightly altered to the users liking, in order to make it more realistic and difficult to break. It's extremely useful, and I mean, it can be used up to Long range. That is already extremely cool, and powerful.

It was a normal day as Dean was facing yet another enemy. Their terrain, a quite dense forest near Konoha. Dean starts off by focusing his Sound based chakra to his hands and snaps his fingers, whilst standing before his opponent. As he does so, the sound would be amplified, and the opponent would be in the Genjutsu. The opponent would then hear a large crack sound, which immediately drags his attention to the trees situated behind him. Several massive trees seemed to have cracked in half due to unforseen forces, and would proceed to fall downwards upon the opponent. Due to the size of the trees and the proximity of the opponent to the trees, he wouldn't be able to run and actually escape the wrath of the falling trees. Due to this, the opponent would struck by the trees as they falls down. In reality though, Dean has made his to the opponent, and by charging his Sound based chakra to his hands, he causes his right hand to release a sonic wave towards the chest of the opponent. This causes the opponent to be destroyed due to the waves rupturing vital organs like the heart, whilst he is still stuck in the Genjutsu.

He then whistles, releasing a high frequency sound wave, creating a sound similar to a faint buzzing in the target's ear, similar to Ringing Madness. However, instead of causing a foe to become disoriented, it impairs his hearing, making the buzzing the only thing that he can hear, seeming as if the target has bees swimming around his ear. The buzzing drowns any sound out, unless they are exceptionally loud (i.e. great explosions, one yelling directly into the target's ear, etc), making it very difficult for the target to hear incoming jutsus or attacks.
Note: Hearing impairment lasts 3 turns

This one pretty much impairs your targets hearing. How does it do that?

Well, it is simple yet at the same time, ingenious. The user charges his Sound based chakra in his vocal chords and whistles. This causes a high frequency sound to be emitted. This causes the opponent to hear this buzzing Sound, which later drives out any other sound except itself. this allows the opponent to use stealthy techniques against the opponent, without the chance of the opponent being able to counter because they heard it. A very nice technique and should be strategically, like before using Stone Spikes or a stealthy technique that comes from behind the opponent. I can already see a few techniques that I will be using in conjunction with this. It even goes up to long range and lasts for three turns, making this, a very powerful yet undercover technique.

The effect is a large emission of low frequency, high amplitude sound waves but instead of a forward attack, its manipulated into an omnidirectional sound blast that expands outwards all around the user, pushing attacks and enemies backwards with might.

Pretty much Echo Assault Skill just much shorter range, and an omnidirectional blast.

Interesting. The technique starts off by concentrating your Sound based chakra into your vocal chords. A scream, roar or yell is then let out, releasing an omnidirectional blast of low frequency, high amplitude waves. The technique says it pushes enemies away with might, does that mean it hits you back and causes damage in doing so?

Anyway, it's great for getting rid of projectiles around you, or simply more than one opponent (in case of clones trying to flank you). I don't really see myself using it that much, as it sounds like a watered down version of Echo Assault Skill. Only cool think is that it is an omnidirectional blast.

It pushes them back and does damage internally if you use it against a person, while if used on techniques it'll simple push them away from you.

1) ( Ototon: Teisei Tame Inu) - Sound Release: Whispers to the Canines

I can only see it becoming one of the techniques I will use when I use Sound, because it can be so useful and it requires no hand seals. It hinders the opponent's hearing, causing them to hear that buzzing sound only, which allows me to then use a technique that is usually countered because the opponent heard it form. If they can't hear it, they'll either just lose or resort to meta gaming, which is also losing if its an official fight >_>

2) (Ototon: Hibiki Rendan no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Echo Assault Skill

Can be used for almost anything solid coming your way, plus a lot more close encounters. Plus that bonus when using it with water, makes it my second favorite on the list.

3) (Ototon: Oto no Ken) - Sound Release: Sonic Fist

Just for those pesky Taijutsu users. Can easily cause one of their limbs to not be used and can basically kill on impact if you hit the person in a vital spot. There is also no indication that your limb has been enhanced by Sound, so... :coffee:

Description: This is a much greater and focused version of the (Ototon: Hibiki Rendan no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Echo Assault Skill technique in which the user gathers his sound chakra into his throat as he inhales afterwards exhaling as he screams, yells or roars. The resulting effect is a massive forward shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude sound that levels anything in its path. Unlike its weaker technique, the massive power it carries makes it slightly slower, equal to an average equally ranked Raiton technique. Unlike the unfocused nature of its weaker version, its focused almost like a beam, affecting an area of 50º in front of the user. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.

Same as the other one with a slight change, it's more like a beam and affecting 50 degrees in front of you. And it is slightly slower then a lighting technique. Compared to the other one where it is faster.

By gathering Sound based chakra in your throat, and screaming/yelling/roaring, one can release a powerful shockwave of high frequency, low amplitude sound. Due to it's great power, it is a bit slower (and that has to be taken into account) but it has a greater range or area of destruction (50 degrees). It's like a beam, the technique says, meaning it is more focused. This technique also adds the +20 to water techniques if used on them which is always a great bonus. An easy technique to understand.

Description: The user gathers a large amount of sound chakra into both of his hands, creating a vibration field around them that resonates at different, yet low, frequencies. The user will then slam both hands together, forcing them to resonate with each other and explode. This creates a massive sound shockwave that pushes back anything in front of the user in a 160º radius.

Everything up to 160 degrees radius will be pushed back in front of you, by simply clapping your hands releasing a massive shockwave. Handy for those higher then B-rank techniques, so it can only push back A-rank and below. Again doesn't destroy them.
